The article captures on a society dominated by both adults and teenagers and youths based on political participations. It is normally hard to find youths taking part on equal grounds as adults in political matters. In this book, Gordon gives an account of compelling the youths to take part in community politics by forming youth movements. Through such movements, it would be possible for the teenagers to realize social change both in the academic institutions and its neighborhood. The book further provides an insight deep into the youth activism by broadening salience of age determination. Age salience is ordered by race, gender and class to the political participation to sociality. This material is so significant based on its mode of points expression. The author clearly puts across his arguments in a more rational and convincing manner.

Firstly, the author presumes that all political systems trace his laid down strategies of blocking teenagers from political participation. In addition, the author overlooked the constitutional verdict on the political associations and their formations. In his book, it is assumed that all nations have a similar legal framework governing politics.
