I just graduated from the Le Hong Phong High School with a tremendous performance all through the years of study. At several occasions have I scoped 3rd prize in English, specifically in Hochiminh City. This was in the years 2008 and 2009. Following my graduation, I am interested in pursuing Economics and Finance course in the RMIT Vietnam. This scholarship application is tailored towards realization of this interest, which I pursue as my education objective and goal. The fact that the institution will now offer this course in English makes it an ideal place for me to undertake the course. The availability of qualified and experienced teaching team makes it even better.
Advancement in education to college or university brings forth a time for experiencing entirely new and exciting phenomenon. Consequently, it is a time to assess and evaluate the diversity and innovativeness of new and already existing ideas. Studying Economics and Finance will not only equip me with the career prospects that accrue from the learning process, but also with a cross-life-cutting aspects and concepts. The culture, history and ideologies of the Vietnam are an integral part of scholarship program, given that is a foreign country to my case. The scope of Economics and Finance is spread to the entire world economy, making it favorable for me to identify and expand my education horizons as well as appreciate and account for what the wide world economy offers.
The scholarship program is a big time opportunity for me. It is my belief that I am set to benefit greatly from this program in regard to the path of career. If enrolled to it, my past and present experiences will by greater extent relate to my academic, professional and career goals. In the past, I have volunteered in social activities like working as a volunteer in a Senior Home and Orphanage. This raised my social concern for the society, and up to today, the economic condition of any nation or state is fundamental to the well being of the society. In this regard, this scholarship would give me an opportunity to work on my strengths and direct my success in the Economics career tot the endeavors of the society, in the light of considering that the study of Economics is a social science.
Academically, this scholarship is fundamental to me and more especially given that it is based in the Vietnam. Vietnam provides a native environment in both study and surrounding. Internalizing the use of English in the teaching system of the RMIT Vietnam and the fluency I have in the language is a perfect combination. Further engagement of people and culture in the country that this scholarship is initiated grants ease in functionality of the program and consequent career that it is tailored to develop. This scholarship is ideal for me because I am hardworking and committed to my work. I perceive success as a process rather than a one time achievement. Engagement in a career is over and above academic excellence in the field of study. My strength in leadership has brought me to this realization, which I seek to grow and develop if given a chance under this program.
This scholarship (if awarded) is set to allow me to live and more importantly study in Vietnam. Integration into the Vietnam economy is an ultimate opportunity to determine the relationship that characterizes this economy and the rest of the world. This brings on board the dynamism and diversity of the world economy and finances into the context of Economics and Finance that I seek to pursue. With this, embracing this dynamism and diversity is made easier based on the appreciation of the differences evident in different countries’ point of view in matters that pertain to economies and their functionality.
