A carefully crafted strategy execution is critical to convince others to commit the time and resources to implement and execute ideas. Recognizing a need for creativity and innovation within an organization, and developing a plan to move the organization toward great profitability is generally agreed upon as the easy part; moving toward implementation and gaining support through execution strategy is more difficult. There is no one-size-fits-all strategy for every execution plan. The strategy must be customized to consider things such as the cost of implementation and its effect on the current operations budget. You must also consider whether or not a cohesive managerial team is already in place. It is also important to ensure that internal systems for business operations exist because if the correct infrastructure is not in place, the lack of organizational structure will hinder execution rather than promote it. Finally, managers should develop both monetary and non-monetary rewards for employee performance which exceeds standard performance measures. In turn, employees who feel appreciated will feel vested and valued, and be more willing to contribute to the success of the organization. My response for this strategy execution is to carefully examine each point. I would analyze my management team and determine who has the skills and capabilities to not only see shortcomings in my plan, but to also contribute new ideas for improvement and help it move forward to implementation. I would also need to remain flexible and willing to make changes even through execution, because conditions or the market could change. Finally, everyone who contributes to a successful execution strategy should be acknowledged and rewarded in some way, which will create the type of corporate culture that will promote continued innovation and change.
