Introduction
A team-based structure encompasses a system where employees work as teams with each team mandated to particular specific duties. The teams are self-directed and must complete the entire role such as developing software (Mills, 2007). The assignment focuses on a team-based structure in organizations and uses a selected picture as a reference point.

The picture (TBOS, p. 384), depicts four people who seem to be discussing and analyzing something work related. All the members are focused on the task. The man in light green polo shirt may be the team director because the attention by other members is on him. The scenario is an example of a team-based structure where they have been charged with a particular set of roles (TBOS, p. 384).
Discussion on group-based scenarios
In school set up, students can be organized into groups. The students, when combined in a balanced manner in groups, achieve better results both academic and life skills. In consideration include aspects of heterogeneous concepts such as capabilities, gender, and diversity. Educators in the social works discipline state that cooperative learning improves critical thinking, promotes diversity and enhance professional development in learners (Gillespie, 2012). From the biblical aspect, God is seen to institute teams such as creating Adam and Eve and charge them with taking care of creation. When creating the earth, the Trinity of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit depict the importance of teamwork (Genesis 1:1–3, New International Version). In a family set, people team up during important events such as ceremonies, and weddings with each group having a particular role in a financial committee group.
Conclusion
Team based functioning and role play proves to vital in organizations and many aspects of life such as family and educational institutions as pointed out in the paper.
