AND GLOBALISATION
Following the American Psychological Association’s Guidelines
Every business or organization needs to design an organization structure which has to include planning, organizing, directing, and controlling.
An organization needs to manage some driving internal and external forces affecting four functions of management. The main factors affecting an organization are globalization, technology, innovation, diversity, and ethics. They might be either external or internal or both at the same time.
Innovations are essential to businesses in a changing world. If a business can follow the changes in market and consumer behaviors, then business can be elastic to adapt itself to new things.
Diversity in goods and organization culture is essential. New generation wants to see diversity in everything.
Business, organizational and other ethics are also important in terms of behaviors of workers, managers, consumers and other stakeholders. A business should be able to predict or know how people will react to policy implementations and developing an ethics and some principles can truly contribute to this.
The most important factor is globalization, because it has impact on innovations, ethics, diversity etc. Globalization is a phenomenon that we, all the people, have created with the help of the high technology tools and this phenomenon has a large impact on us. The four functions of management are highly interrelated with globalization.
An organization is very similar to living creature and similarly they grow a body and some functions. If a company wants to be successful, it should make its planning, organizing its structure and working its mechanisms, running business and controlling according to the globalization effects.
