Introduction
Being famous like celebrities and politicians has its perks, to gain recognition from people in all places in something that only happen in someone are daydreaming. However, some people see celebrities as products of social mediocrity, but despite the negative connotations that celebrities get from the critical public, they too encompass social importance that is also attributed to politics. This importance will be explored to create a correlation between society and fame.
Celebrities
Celebrities symbolize the different facets of human existence; celebrities seen on TV and on cinema portray the different spectrum of social life and society as a whole. A late night show talk show host continues to deliver entertainment to people that stays awake late at night contemplating on the different experiences they had during the day. Whether a bad hair ruins the entire day, there is something the celebrities are able to deliver to the people to at least diver attention away from the stressful experience. Therefore, the importance of celebrities in society is to portray the unseen paradigms of social existence that normal people fails to see.
Politics
When it comes to politics, people look up to their leaders as good examples, an iconography of leadership that drives a nation to progress. However, news about political conflicts floods the media as one political entity clashes with another. Despite the downside of the often perceived as dirty political environment, it still constitutes a distinct significance to society. Politicians are important to demonstrate that dictatorship is out of existence. Political issues are products of opinions coming from the different people and needs to be heard. Democracy is the fundamental definition of politics that ensures no person is to hold power solely in his hands.
Conclusion
It maybe simple and narrow as it sounds, but politics and celebrities the depiction of human nature and civilized existence that society is supposed to possess. Without celebrities the diversion that celebrities provide to the people, there is a higher probability of social unrest. On the other hand, politics is something that serves as a security blanket that assures democracy.
