The sea is one of the bodies of water that you can gaze out in the pacific. Depending on the weather, it is easy to tell how the sea will fare and react to the wind and other environmental factors. Most of the time, the sea is in a calm mood, whereas, a stormy night means unpredictable, and sometimes treacherous, sea conditions.
At times, the sea appears as blue as the surrounding mountains. There are even moments when it registers an aquamarine hue that is so calming to the eyes. For some, the sea may look so green or black, which means that part of the sea that is so deep that it is quite difficult to perceive the bottom or even see a glimpse of the fishes. As such, the depth dictates the color of the sea. Shallow waters often mean varying colors of blue, although mostly on the lighter shade. Darker tones of blue and green refers to the unfathomable parts of the sea. Because it reflects the color of the sky, the water glints when the sun shines through it and glimmers with tinges of sapphire at night under the moonlight.
On a serene day, the salty waters remain calm and clear. Usually, these days are reserved for fishing in the inviting seawater. As tempting as it is, swimming in the still waters of the sea is safe as long as all the necessary swimming gears are in place. However, during tempestuous nights, the waters can be wavy and turbulent. Therefore, it is advisable to stay indoors as the sea can be cold and freezing.
The vast sea is home to various marine creatures and species. Considering that the sea looks endless, one can just imagine how many fishes there are in the sea. Mysterious and unpredictable, the sea still casts a magical spell on anyone who loves the sight and scents of the sea. As the water surges towards the shore, the foamy water feels cold to the feet. Come high tide or low tide, the sea creates ripples of different sizes. Inshore, the whooshing of the rushing waters can be heard as it whispers the billow of the wind.
The smell of the musty sea mingles with the scent of the misty morning. After a tranquil and restful evening, the fog lifts up. Gone is the forbidding and icy cover of the sea. In its place is an infinite body of water often described as the mistress of the sailors. Fleetingly, choppy waters blend in with the swelling heavy sea.
The navigable sea is wide enough for ships to travel, while offshore, people incessantly watch as different sea craft pass by. Anglers consider the sea their best friend no matter what weather conditions prevail. Because of the sea, families have food to eat and they have a steady source of livelihood. Thus, the rough seas are not a threat to man's living conditions especially if one knows how to decipher the fickleness of the sea.
As the briny tidal waves reach the pelagic, the deeper the Pacific becomes. There the waves become one in the deep-sea. The fear that the sea conveys is erased as a tranquil surroundings emerges right in the middle of the sea.
