Germany and Italy got involved in Spanish war because of various reasons. First, the two countries wanted more allies so that they could be assured of their security against their enemies such as France. The two countries also wanted to get a chance to test the nuclear weapons that they already had. The two countries were against the spread of communism and therefore engaged in the war as a way of opposing communist ideologies. The two countries were to gain also by acquisition of more land for their citizens hence expanding their territories. These countries were therefore aware of the benefits associated with winning the war (Taylor, 142).
The Spanish war had several impacts in Europe. First, many people lost their lives. The total number has never been accounted for. Many people also lost their land and became left as refugees. The capitalist’s states feared the communist countries after the war. It was realized that communist countries were stronger than the capitalists. Enmity between capitalist and communist countries also intensified.
Several events played a great role in stimulating the Second World War. First, expansion of Germany into new parts created amenity with other states. This anger induced the war. The dictatorship form of leadership was another issue that stimulated World War II. Germany and Spain had leaders who were dictators. There form of leadership facilitated the war. The great world depression that occurred before the war was behind the war. The effects of the First World War were also an important event. Many countries had many debts that they were not able to pay because of the war. The revolution that was present in Spain led by Franco in a way influenced World War II after attracting the attention of many countries to the revolution (Taylor, 146).
It was not possible to prevent the war. The events that were happening could not be prevented. Different countries were pursuing their own interests and ideologies that were contrary to one another. In pursuit of individual goals, these countries conflicted with one another. First, there were no ways of controlling dictatorship. It would be difficult to prevent countries from acquiring more territories. The First World War had already occurred and its effects were still present in many countries. There were no methods of eliminating the effects of the World War I. All these conditions meant that it was difficult to prevent the World War II (Taylor, 99).
Mao Zedong was one of the greatest leaders in china. He is known to be the founder of china republic. His philosophies are recognized all over the world. His ideologies have been recognized in many other states. His main idea was communism. He sought to ensure that china was the biggest communist country in the world. He also spread the communism ideas to many other countries. His ideas resulted to conflicts in many ways especially where he was dealing with capitalist countries. For example, he is associated with the occurrence of the war in Vietnam. His actions are believed to have caused economic problems in china such as hunger and slowed rate of development.
Mao influenced other countries in that he was able to spread communism in these countries. Many of these countries have performed poorly due to communism ideas. The people around him especially the citizens in china suffered because economic problems in this country affected them negatively. Mao is believed to have reduced the rate of industrialization in china. Capitalist ideology could have led to industrialized nation.
