Jazz originated from the period of blacks liberation. It can also be associated to the age of rebellion in Eastern Europe. However, it was exclusively created by the African American songwriters and originated from Chicago. This genre of music has always been associated with liberation and indifference. This was the case when the blacks were liberated and the rebellion in Germany. For this reason, jazz remained quite popular in most parts of Europe. In the modern sense, jazz represents the group of people who refuse to conform to the expected genres of music like rock and hip hop and remain truthful to their culture.
Notably, most people listen to other genres of music due to their popularity. Defying the expectations of the society, I listen to jazz music since I appreciate the talent in this area of entertainment. In the jazz genre, the artiste utilizes very few instruments and this gives me a relaxed feeling after a long day of fatigue. Compared to other modern genres that insist on numerous instrumentals that require utmost concentration to listen to the words, jazz requires very little concentration and this meets my needs, as I am not the type to concentrate on every wording in music.
Jazz in its cultured sense is very addictive and eventually grows on its listeners just as it did on me. It happened when I was experimenting on different genres of music evaluating why people listened to each. When I got to the jazz section, I kept getting more records thus ending my mini music research. I could also attribute my love for jazz to the fact that when I was young, my parents and neighbors all regarded jazz very highly and this might have stuck with me through the years.
Undeniably, jazz music requires culture and genius to pass as a musician. The way the musicians use the rhythms strategically and meticulously just make me happy.in addition, the improvisations that entails the success in this career helps me appreciate the hard work required to make music. This may be attributed to my love of culture, taste, and hard work. It is in my nature to appreciate this attributes and for this reason, I am unable to unlatch myself from the strong talons of this culture. This genre also integrates different styles like blues and rock. This makes it easy to listen to even in the mood to listen to other genres without necessarily changing the type of music. In this sense, it offers something for everyone.
I like a challenge occasionally. This exercises the muscles of my brain increasing my thinking capacity. Jazz is sometimes thought provoking and may be difficult to understand it sometimes. This gives me a little excitement whenever such an opportunity presents itself. It always gives me satisfaction whenever I reach to new levels of understanding my favorite music. Ultimately, jazz music gives the listener an identity and they are able to stand out from the throngs of everyday music lovers. For this reason, I love jazz music for it makes me feel different and makes me stand out as an individual. I feel accomplished because this music speaks to my soul and makes me feel special. For this reason, I confess my undying love for jazz music and forever wish to have it by my side.
