My encoding is not difficult and it entails a basic definition of the word. The student that I pose the question to decodes it correctly and gives me the feedback. The feedback is the correct answer to the question I asked about the definition of communication. No changes are made in any future messages sent. This describes a basic communication situation.

I would side with Nozick in the theory of distributive justice. In his theory, he argues that since healthcare is a new good to the people, there are specific rules that must govern how it is distributed to the people. If I was put in charge of healthcare, I would ensure that the facilities are available and are accessible to all. This theory elaborates how resources should be shared amongst people living in the same country without collision.

The best decision to make would be to remove the 68 year old lady out of the intensive care unit and admit the 22 year old pregnant lady who requires immediate treatment. The decision is made after careful consideration all other patients in the care unit. The child who requires palliative care and the coal miner are young and have responsibilities and are thus worth saving. The ethical theories that play part in this scenario are utilitarianism and care ethics. Utilitarianism focuses on doing the overall good. Care ethics argues that what is ethical must maintain strong relationships and care for others .

The type of management that I prefer working for is a people-oriented management. The rationale is that in a people-oriented management style, there is mutual respect for the workers and in that sense, there is more production. In the people-oriented management, there is a proper and enriched relationship between comrades and their bosses and this makes work easier and results achievable.
I would want to become a people-oriented manager in the future. This kind of a manager is one who focuses on ensuring that the employees are motivated and satisfied and they are able to deliver on the production process. This manager understands that the best investment in an organization is the employees it has and thus treats them with respect.

Euthanasia can be defined as the practice of ending someone’s life intentionally with a view of bringing their suffering and pain to an end. This practice is prohibited by many religions but it I agree with the practice. Firstly, someone can have so much suffering until they are in a comma. The pain may be too much to handle and as a health practitioner, ending their life would be the most reasonable thing to do. The ethical theory that supports this practice is utilitarianism which argues that acting right involves minimizing suffering.

The rationale is that healthcare involves reasoning and individual ethics should act as a backdrop of the decisions made by the manager. As an individual, societal ethics take the first position. There is no discrepancy and in general life, ethics should be our guide in all our actions.

The Vroom’s Expectancy theory of motivation asserts that individuals choose a particular behavior with the results in mind. People act in a defined way as they believe there is a correlation between efforts and performance. I would be highly motivated to complete the assignment as I believe that effort is rewarded with good performance and that my efforts on completing the assignment will earn me good grades.
