Introduction
Thai loin cloth is fabrics that have rectangular grid patterns. There are vibrant colors of these fabrics that are either cotton or silk. Since the ancient times, this fabric has been used as versatile fabric and with time it is losing its popularity. The major objective of this project is to enhance the use of Thai Loin fabric. The Intention of the product is to introduce this fabric to a new market and also popularize the use of the fabric. Since the use of this fabric has continued to decline from the ancient time, this project aims at introducing these fabrics to the current fashion industry. In this current Fashion, it is easy to incorporate this fabric due to its uniqueness in colors and also since it is a multipurpose, That is can be used to design clothes for both sexes, all the ages and most especially for young people who are always the fashion enhancers.
Aims of the project
The objective of this project is to mix the Thai and Europe fashion. That is the use of this fabric from Thailand to make various designs of clothes for Europe. Use of Thai fabric in European designs will help promote the Thai loin by making it popular. This will also help to introduce this Thai loin to new markets across the world. The project aims at using young people as the promoters of the fabric since they are always seen as the enhancer of fashion. The other goal this project is to bring back this fabric into the fashion industry (Sisson, 2011). This will be met by coming up with the designs that are suitable for young adults in Thailand since they are always more repetitive to the new and bolder fashion.
Evaluation on Viability of the project
Use of the Thai Lion in the current fashion will make this fabric popular. The designers who will adopt the use of this fabric in current fashion will make the fashion popular as the young people across the world will want to go with fashion. Also since this fabric can be used to make clothes for both the sexes it will facilitate the growth of popularity of this fabric. The many colors in these fabrics will also help the designers to come up with different unique designs which will attract more buyers across the world. This is because the bold colors and the bold prints that are either in the dresses, pants or skirts are always the statements of the great maker of fashion. The fact that this project aims at combining the Thai and European fashions also makes this project to be expected to have a tremendous growth (Sisson, 2011). This is because the designs will not only be popular in Thailand but also in Europe who will appreciate their designs. This wills expand the market for this lion Thai fabric. And with time the fabric will be popular in Thailand and Europe continent. As the fabric continues to be popular, it will have other targeted markets across other continent. This project will make the fabric be popular and also expand its markets. The above uniqueness in the fabric makes it have a comparative advantage of the other fabric and with little time with implementation of this project will see the growth in popularity and colonization of new markets by this fabric.
Through undertaking this project, I have learnt of various market gaps that can be field with Loin Thai. These markets Gap include both the local market and international market. In the local market promoting the use of this fabric can be done as a way of appreciating the culture of the Thailand. This can be done by organizing shows and exhibition by the country authorities (Hawthorn,2006). It can also be achieved through numerous campaigns using both the print and audible media. Through these campaigns, the Loin Thai will gain its popularity back in Thailand. This will in turn increase the local market of the fabric since most people Thailand will go to it since its way to show they appreciate their culture.
Through this project, I have also seen that the Thai lion fabric can be made popular in another region of the world. The diversity in its color will help designers to create designs that will be unique and differentiated with colors. Mixing of Thailand fashion with other fashions like the European fashion will enable this fabric to find new markets and also enhance the popularity of this design across the world. Through my project, I have learnt that the Lion fabric can be made popular across the world by colonizing the new markets niches. It easy to achieve this since this fabric can be used to design fabric for both the sexes and the wide variety of its color. In an inert shell, I can say that The lion fabric will be once more popular not only in Thailand but also across the world since this project has continued to show the various opportunities that can be exploited by the fabric that has its origin from Thailand(Hawthorn,2006).
Evaluation in Performance of Thai loin
This project explains how this fabric will perform in the market. Given the fact that it can be used to make clothes for both the sexes it becomes easy to promote this fabric. This is so because in the promotion of this fabric that will entail the use of both designs will be done by both male and females(Schulze,2009). In short, the fact that both the sexes can wear it creates diversity on the people that develop an interest to purchase the Thai loin fabric, and this will make it compete favorably with other designs.
The uses of the young people also to promote the designs that are made from this fabric also increase the market performance of this fabric. This is because the young people are always seen to go with the trend in fashion. So by wearing different designs of this fabric will enhance the number of people who would want to be associated with this fabric as young people are always viewed to go with the trends in fashion.
The Thai loin fabric has an advantage over the other fabric in that it is more flexible and can make clothes worn by young and old ages hence this increases the chances of the fabric competing advantageously in the market (Stålros,2006).This makes this fabric compete favorably with other fabrics because other fabrics are known to be suitable for young people and not old people, or are seen to be suitable for old ages and not the young ages.
The mixing of fashion of the Thailand fashion and The European fashion will also help this fabric to compete favorably with other fabric since this will create new markets. The fabric will not only be popular in Asia but also in Europe where the designers will come up with different design. This will increase the performance of this fabric as it will have a large market to exploit.
Evaluation on Outcomes
Through the use of the current fashion in my project, the expected outcome is to make the Thai lion popular across the world. Use of young people from Thailand to promote the design will make the fabric popular among the young people of Thailand hence the fabric will regain its popularity in Thailand(Schulze,2009).
The lion Thai will be popular in Asian continent especially in Thailand and in Europe continent. This is due to the design entailing the use of mixed current fashion from Thailand and Europe. In turn, the popularity of the fabric will grow in the two continents by exploring new markets in Europe and among the young people of Thailand (Stålros,2006).
The adverse color of this fabric also increases the comparative advantage of this fabric in that it will facilitate the designs to come up with designs that are distinguished. These will help this fabric to become popular and colonize new market niche.
Time managing
In the time of my project, I always manage time well since I know for this project to success I must invest more time in coming up with the ideas that will make the Thai lion popular and also to come up with new markets. Much time in the project was used to research about this fabric and how to enhance its popularity and also the creation of new markets. As a way of promoting the popularity of this fabric, the project I have been doing has gone into details to look at the advantages of this fabric that will help it to compete favorably in the market with other fabrics (Schulze,2009).
My tutor has been very supportive in this project. He has always helped me to come up with unique the ideas that can be used to mix the fabric. My peers have also been supportive in that when I go to them they have never turned me down they are always willing to help where they can. Where I was unable to mix the fabric, I also consulted the profession in the area who through their help I was able to come up with uniqueness in mixing the fabric. Some of the problem that I have encountered in my project is that times it was difficult to have a convenient time with the photographer and the models.
In the future, this project can be further improved by use of current fashion designs from different parts of the world. The project would in turn popularize this fabric across the whole and also create up new markets for this fabric. From the above evaluation, I can conclude that my project is of professional level as it seeks to popularize the use of the fabric and also coming up with new market. The project looks into the gaps in the market and how to fill this gap by the use of Thai lion and making the fabric popular again.
