Purpose Statement
1. What have you learned this semester about evangelism as it relates to your Christian walk that has changed your perception and challenged your thinking?
There are a variety of important lessons that I have learned this semester regarding evangelism as it relates to my Christian walk. These ideas have profoundly changed my perceptions and challenged my thinking by providing me with a basis for understanding my faith and that of others on a more fundamental level. Not only does an understanding of Christian evangelism help to provide insight into the way in which faith can be instilled and inspired in others but it also provides a basis for considering the overall impact that devotion can have on the moral and ethical fabric of society. The ability to clearly and definitively articulate the underlying lessons of the Bible and the implications of faith is an essential aspect of this pursuit. In promoting the grace of Christian values the variety of opportunities that are available for promoting faith can be seen to be developed to a higher degree. The communities that these lessons are directed towards are able to benefit from stronger comprehension of the Gospels and a more prominent directive towards the realities that are faced by the higher calling that is instilled within them. The primary challenge in this respect has been to motivate a deeper level of clarity that can be attributed to these aspects of belief. In doing so, it is evident that a variety of possibilities arise that allow for the individual to be better directed on their path towards salvation. These perceptions can therefore be directed towards the application of a deeper sense of purpose and value that allows for a more comprehensive association between the individual and their view of the divine and how it relates to them personally. The challenges faced by the promotion of faith based teachings can be seen to drastically alter the underlying principles by which everyday tasks can be motivated in a more profound way. This can be best understood in relation to the conception of the Holy.
The principles of evangelist devotion and the promotion of this vision demonstrates the primary challenge of spreading God’s message. It is important to understand the need for personal devotion towards God which is a major task to take part in. The principles of belief dictate the priorities that should be addressed, which demonstrate the need to critically assess the perceptions of self that are directed towards specific tenets of faith. While it is easy to walk in the footsteps of the faithful to truly be faithful is a much greater challenge. This basic idea is an important aspect that I have learned during my time studying this topic. The promotion and adoption of these values can be seen to contend with the divergence of personal views regarding faith and the divine. In considering these aspects it is necessary to promote the perseverance of the task as the vision and word of God is brought into the lives of more people. The Bible makes clear the roles of those depicted within its pages. The role of Jesus was to bring the lessons of mankind’s past failures so that they could be redeemed. In order to truly stand within the light of God people must therefore constantly seek to sacrifice their personal desires and intentions in order to promote the work of Christ. These values should be adopted in order to consistently instigate the growth of these truths in the world. In doing so it is possible to achieve a wider range of personal aspiration which can be a profound benefit to faith. The guidance that can be provided by the lessons learned were essential in disseminating the personal responsibilities that people have towards one another in the world. The expectations that I had regarding my own faith were presented as being lacking in relation to these expectations and the need for a deeper commitment has become apparent.
These lessons regarding evangelism as it relates to my Christian walk have dramatically changed my perception and challenged my thinking. In addressing a variety of concerns, including the need to share faith within the community and the underlying mission of developing and promoting these values with others, is is possible to challenge others to reconsider the underlying principles by which they have been living their lives. This can cause major changes within people of all walks of life. While I had thought that there was a need to promote specific rules and norms in relation to these aspects of faith I have found that simply promoting the overall message of God allows for people to grasp these ideas in a deeper way. Rather than negatively implicating people as having fallen out of favor it is better to impress upon them the need for all people to consistently devote themselves to personal and spiritual growth, even in the face of hardship and struggle. These lessons are essential in promoting the faith to a higher degree and can provide a more solid basis in promoting my personal expectations on the world. In adhering to specific guidelines it is possible to address a variety of problems, however, when true faith is instilled the challenges of life can be overcome. The most essential aspect of this personal commitment towards the implications of faith based teachings being communicated to others is that there are many ways in which it can be interpreted. In ensuring that the lessons being given are able to address the most pressing concerns to Christian values in the most easily accessible way a more comprehensive following can be established. These lessons have provided me with the necessary lens through which my personal beliefs can be better communicated to others. In overcoming the barriers of communication and understanding a deeper level of commitment can be created that allows individuals and communities to work together in order to develop a stronger relationship with Christian values and teachings.
2. As we know from Scripture, where there is not a vision, the people will perish. With this in mind, what is your personal vision as it relates to integrating evangelism into every part of your life in the days to come? What are some specific changes you will need to make in order to fulfill your vision? How might this eventually affect your family in the future? How will you relate in your community—that is, where you live, work, and play? How will adopting the role of a servant impact your future ministry in evangelism? How will you also become more verbal and bold in your witness?
My personal vision in relation to the integration of evangelism into every part of my life in the days to come is that a better understanding of Christianity in general and its teachings can help to promote not only my own spiritual well-being but also those of the people around me. In fearlessly presenting myself as somebody who has strong and committed beliefs I can work to challenge others in their own pursuit of belief. Not only should I be resolute in my personal faith, but I must also be strong in my adoption of teachings to other’s lives. In helping others to understand how Christian values can help them in their own lives, and beyond, it is possible to develop a stronger following of believers that relate more strongly to the teachings of Christ. The implications of this is primarily the outlying circumstances that may determine a less dynamic interplay between the church and the communities that they exist within. My vision is therefore fundamentally related to the promotion of my personal faith to others in a way that instills a sense of desire within them to have such strong beliefs. The integration of evangelism into my personal life can help me to not only promote these values within myself but within others as well. The basic perceptions that these values are built upon provide a needed level of clarity when addressing the challenges that are faced when communicating faith to others or for defending specific ideas or values when they are put under scrutiny.
The specific changes that will need to be made in order to fulfill this vision include not only working to integrate the teachings of scripture into my daily life but in ensuring that the positivity of such actions can be seen and understood by others. It is necessary to be deeply interested in scripture and its teachings, looking for ways that it can be applied to situations that are encountered every day. This can help to integrate such important ideas into the underlying devotion that I already have. Furthermore, it is necessary for me to understand these lessons and be able to effectively communicate them to others on a regular basis so that they can also see how they relate to them. These values can then be communicated in a more concrete way. It is important to understand the various areas of ministry that can be confirmed and adapted to various circumstances. The gospel can be understood in the context of daily life and advanced as an underlying device by which my decisions can be made. In promoting the principles that have been outlined in the text and merging them with the individual expectations of daily life it is possible to express a more comprehensive devotion towards the expression of the divine and its lessons for humanity. In becoming a vessel through which the teachings of God can be freely expressed to those around me I can successfully adopt the values of evangelist pursuits into my daily experiences. This is important in addressing the primary goal of such pursuits, which is to help others to understand the value of the Christian faith.
This might have a profound effect on my family in the future, which should also be considered. There are a variety of ways that this can affect those around me. It may be that there is a level of tension due to the way in which these ideas are understood by some. This may make it difficult to work with them in some cases. In this respect it is necessary to develop strong positive relationships with my family that allow us to freely and openly communicate with one another regarding any potential concerns. The major challenge in this sense is therefore to overcome any potential way in which this can negatively impact them. In considering the implications of pursuing spiritual development it is necessary to understand the challenges that might be faced. The idea of promoting personal views to others can be regarded as an important concept in this way. The importance of family in the promotion and adoption of faith is an essential factor. For this reason, the underlying values that can be associated with these individuals should be considered in relation to my personal commitment to the evangelical pursuit. These ideas create a deeper relationship which should be expected through the correlations of Christian truth and teachings. In relating to my community, it is evident that the pursuit of teaching regarding religious teachings and values can also provide a deeper sense of connection and purpose. The relation and integration of Christian values and perspectives into everyday life is an essential aspect of positive communication in this respect. This demonstrates the need to promote the adoption of more concrete values when it comes to the evangelical perspective.
Adopting the role of a servant will impact my future ministry in evangelism due to the underlying implications of such a decision. The wholesale devotion of oneself to religious teachings and devotion can not only isolate an individual from those that they knew and loved but is also a profound change that introduces a variety of important considerations. The expectations that many have in promoting Christian teachings is that they will be able to continue their lives normally. However, it is necessary to understand that the promotion of these values must be done from a perspective of personal commitment. This means that fundamental changes to personal identity and sacrifices of desire and aspiration can often be the reward. The values associated with such a decision should not be taken lightly. The introduction of powerful personal responses to these ideas should be brought to the ministry and challenged to align with specific criteria. The values of Christian faith dictate the need to personally commit oneself to morals or values that may be difficult or may deeply impact their lives. However, it is necessary to establish a strong relationship with the divine through personal sacrifice which often comes at the expense of specific desires or associations.
This will also help me to become more verbal and bold in my witness to pursue my Christian faith. The introduction of these needs presents a chance to adopt a stronger personal identity which can be used in order to positively express the roles of Christian believers in a community and the need to establish a stronger commitment towards such activities. These aspirations are primarily tied up with the need to express the tenets of these values to others in a way that can be understood. This presents the need to polish the ability to discuss such ideas and have difficult conversations with others regarding the importance of faith. These needs will ultimately result in the ability to strongly commit to and argue for specific articles of commitment which need to be addressed in order to become a strong believer and evangelist. Personally witnessing the grace of the divine and expressing this to others is a necessary step in such a process. This will allow me to commit myself more deeply to the principles of Christian doctrines and to ensure that I am constantly questioning the level of commitment that I have to such values. This commitment will be tempered by the need to express deeply held personal beliefs to others and submit them for criticism. For this reason, it is necessary to not only be able to powerfully communicate such ideas but also be bold enough to pursue these aspects of truth. These principles demonstrate the need to implement the evangelist perspective in my community.
3. Finally, how do you envision your future ministry and calling as it relates to evangelism and multiplication, involvement in church planting as a pastor or support role, developing true disciples who passionately desire to multiply their witness? In other words, where does true biblical evangelism fit into your future ministry as a pastor, youth minister, church planter, counselor, chaplain, church member, etc.? Please include specific and immediate plans for implementation into your daily life.
I envision my future ministry and calling in relation to evangelism and multiplication as being an ongoing experience that will necessarily adapt and evolve to my changing ideas of faith and commitment, as my knowledge of Christian values grow and I continue to understand the areas in which I have been previously lacking to a higher degree. The primary challenge in this respect will be to determine the most successful root of adaptation that I can take in order to fully implement these values in my everyday life. In doing so, I believe that it is possible to have a strong and positive effect on those that I come into contact with. The implications of such a belief are primarily the underlying consequences which could potentially be adopted from the need for counseling for the introduction of a more profound relationship with the divine. In relation to involvement in church planting as a pastor or support role, I believe that it is possible to help others by taking part in such activities and enhancing the understanding that others have of Christian values. The expectations that people have of faith and the commitment of their educators demonstrates further the need for personal sacrifice and commitment towards such ideals in everyday life. This can help to not only express a stronger standard by which the judgement of personal faith can be ascertained but also a new an essential commitment by which my own understanding can be developed to a higher degree. These aspects of faith demonstrate the need to commit to a lifetime of development that will likely never be completed. The expectations of faith present the need to establish stronger roles in the pursuit of these principles of judgement by which my personal commitment can be ascertained.
If it is true that God is always at work around us, we join Him in his work by boldly reaching out to people and communicating the Gospel. This is an essential role that has been made evident in learning about evangelism. The need to commit oneself to this standard is essential in developing a stronger faith based community and implementing the personal standards of value to oneself through such a position. This demonstrates the value of not only being faithful but also communicating this faith to others.
