The resulting group from the Pew Research Center (2012) quiz is the New Coalition Democrats, and according to the results, this group comprises 10% of the population. This group approves environmental regulations, encourage immigration, positive toward business, pro-government and liberal on issues concerning race. From the results this group comprises of 56% democrats, 30% are black, 26% Latino and 34% white. (Pew Research Center, 2012)
The results from the Advocate (2012) quiz indicate a 70% score on personal issues and a 50% score on economic issues. The resulting group is centrist, this group supports govenremtn intervention in the economy, and personal behavior, support freedom of choice and oppose political extremes, this group emphasizes practical solution for the emerging problems. (Advocate, 2012)
I partially agree with the results of the first quiz, I disagree with issues relating to education, according to the results 55% of the New Coalition Democrats group have only high school education, I disagree with this statistics given that I share similar views with a large number of individuals with high education attainments. I agree that this group is positive toward business and support efforts aimed at preserving the environment. (Pew Research Center, 2012)
I disagree with the second quiz by the Advocate (2012) which states that I do not oppose political extremes, and I agree with the results that the group supports government interventions which is necessary to avoid cases of inequality. (Advocate, 2012)
The results closely align to the Democratic Party, and this is due to the results from the first quiz, which indicated the group as New Coalition Democrats, and the second quiz, which showed that the group is Centrist. This is in line with the democrats who are liberal who favor religion, minority groups and support business regulations. The America's Party is a minor party that will probably grow in future, the reason for its growth is that this party offers an alternative to the other political extremes mainly the major parties.
