Article # 1 - How to Get More Visitors to Click, Buy or Promote on Your Site:
When we talk about perfection in a website, there is no such thing. In other words, it means that there is always a room for improvement and betterment. The point to ponder is how to improve one’s website. The first step is to determine the primary goal of website. What purpose does it serve to the target audience? Is the purpose of the page to promote it on social media, encourage people to call you, get chances to fill out a form or to generate online sales? Once a person understands what the goal is all about, the next step is to think about the path through which visitors must travel in order to achieve the goal. This path is known as conversion funnel. The key to success is to bring improvements and optimization in the conversion funnel. For instance, let us suppose that thirty percent of visitors go to the homepage and select product sales page. Twenty percent of them proceed towards order form and finally forty percent of the remaining visitors complete the order form and come to the thank you page. The number of visitors completed the funnel in this case is 2.4 percent. This percentage is known as conversion rate.
The success of your website lies behind improving the conversion rate. If the conversion rate of each page in conversion funnel is increased by ten percent, the overall conversion rate grows by thirty three percent. The unfortunate part is that most entrepreneurs and business owners fail to understand and measure their website’s conversion rates. The factors that should be considered in increasing the conversion rate are changing your choice of text, changing text size or font choice, adding new images, changing the background colour of your page and modifying your layout. Moreover, the conversion rate should be tracked on a monthly and daily basis both.
