Three modes of communication:
The three major forms of communication are interpretive communication, presentational communication, and interpersonal communication. The interpretive form of communication is a model where students or a group of people have to view, listen, or read a specific text and answer a series of questions. Therefore, a general context is provided and one has to interact with it through the mentioned ways to provide necessary answers from the text.
Presentational communication is a mode of passing information where students or a group of people engage in presentational mode in order to share their research, opinions, and ideas through various ways including drama, speeches, radio broadcasts, and videos among several other ways.
Interpersonal communication comes after having done the relevant research on topics that are to be discussed. The interpersonal communication is done in a way that a group of people or students engage in communication activities that involve the given topic. They discuss the outcomes of the research in comparison of what they had previously advanced as their main ideas in order to gauge their grasp of the given topic and learn new things.
Characteristics of elementary school learners:
Elementary school learners display several characteristics that offer the teachers who are responsible a way to handle them. The elementary school learners are characterized with minds that must be limited to a specific kind of curriculum in order to attain their maximum ability to study. At the lowest level, they are not in a position to read and write on their own. Therefore, they must be exposed to a lot of activities outside the classroom setting compared to the adults who are in a position to pay attention. Their levels of concentration at this stage is very low, therefore, many activities such as singing and dancing must be incorporated into their programs to keep the attentive and lively for learning process to take place.
