1. Who is the target audience for your repurposed product? Why did you choose this audience?
The target audience would consist of the people who plan to go to Disneyland,
particularly the students, children, parents, and tourists. We chose this audience because
they are the ones most likely to visit Disneyland, but since they probably don’t frequent
Disneyland that much or may even be going to Disneyland for the first time, they would
surely be interested to learn more about what they can see and do in Disneyland and how
they can go to the different places within the theme park.
2. What will your product be and how does it work well for the target audience?
Our product will be a travel planning guide around Disneyland in California. It
will provide our audience with brief yet concise information about the places they can go to and the things they can do in Disneyland. The information will be presented in sections so that the audience can easily find the information they need. For example, there will be a separate section for Places and Activities. Within the Places section, there will be subsections for Restaurants, Hotels, Shopping Centers, and others while in the Activities section, there can be different subsections for Rides, Character Experiences, Guided Tours, and others. Images will also accompany this information in order to give the audience an idea of what the place or activity looks like. As well, the travel planning guide will include a map to help the audience find their way around Disneyland. Moreover, it will provide information about the prices of rides, hotel rooms, food, and others.
3. What will your product do for this chosen audience? In other words, what purpose will your repurposed product serve?
This travel planning guide will help the audience make the most out of their
Disneyland trip. Considering that they would have limited financial resources and
time, having the travel planning guide will enable them to easily find their way around Disneyland. They won’t have to waste time asking for directions and getting lost. Also, since the tickets are expensive, having the travel planning guide will enable them to choose the places they would like to visit the most as well as the activities they would like to do the best. In addition, by providing the audience with information on the prices of the various places and activities within Disneyland, the audience will be able to better plan and budget for their trip.
