Introduction

Forrest Gump remains to be one of the most inspirational characters of all times. Gump’s creatively plays his role symbolizing how humans ought to tackle their problems whenever they are in compromising or challenging situations. The 1994 American romantic comedy and epic film that caught the attention of numerous viewers across the globe was based on a 1986 novel written by Winston Groom.
The film depicts the progressive stages of the life of the slow-witted yet but athletically talented Forrest Gump. In his pivotal role, depicts the life story of an Alabama native who at most instances witnesses but also influences to some considerable extend some defining events of the American history of the latter part of the 20th century.
Forrest Gump in his role brings out the perfect approach to humanity. He depicts a strong sense of a noble person with great passion for the welfare of the human kind. This is well depicted by the values, virtues, and principles of compassion, honesty and compassion. His high esteem for upholding ethical values, virtues, and principles contributed to the enormous success he attains in almost every aspect of his life. He earned an athletic scholarship to high school, which eventually sees him to the American army where he exhibits exemplary performance.
The film successfully brings out all the positive and motivating aspects in the life of Forrest Gump. However, to the surprise of many viewers, the film brings out an unexpected aspect of the life of the life of Forrest Gump.
Observations
His uniqueness in solving the daily life challenges. The main character depicts an escapist personality in tackling his problems. As one of the major and recurring themes, running depicts the most efficient way for solving problems for Forrest Gump. The theme emphasizes that running away from problems seems to work very well for him. Running for more than three years helped him face off all the challenges he was experiencing at that moment.
This unique approach to tackling problems is considered by many to be highly controversial by many viewers. Gump had no even a glimpse of fear for taking a course of action that aimed at improving the standards of his life and those living around him. Whatever was perceived to be right by Forrest must be achieved no matter the cost.

Forrest Gump exercises a persistent and repetitive pattern of behavioral characteristics in which he evades developing solid solutions to the problems, which he faces. he mainly avoids solid decision making processes through engaging himself in running so as clear off his mind of challenges disturbing him.
Evaluation
The depiction of Forrest’s Gump in the film gives an accurate indication of the symptoms typically exhibited by numerous others suffering from the same psychological disorder, i.e. adjustment and modification disorder with stressed or depressed mood. This is clearly captured and manifested in the film through Gump’s recurring running secessions that also forms the major part of the film. This clearly indicates the clinical symptoms of the disorder, i.e. in ability to make solid decisions when confronted with challenges.
