Although Google is among the best companies in the world, it has not been able to evade one of the foremost challenges facing prominent companies. The company has used its excellence in quantitative analysis to aid it in making the right selection for employees.
The company set the standard for all applicants for example, in terms of their performance. This is a proper way of managing the massive number of job applicants flocking the company.
Conducting research on previous strategies which have been employed in such situations would aid the company in identifying the best method to use in choosing recruitment methods.
Conclusion
Although, the company has been able to define some strategies that have assisted in controlling the situation, it can employ other means that will aid in making the situation controllable. One of the recommendations would be to introduce probations that would allow people to expose their expertise. Benchmarking other companies would also serve purpose in obtaining knowledge on employees’ selection from other companies.
