In the article, images are found in various perspectives and their usage is wide beyond the ordinary expectations of people. The article further looks at the evolution of multiscreen technology and the use of images to give a story through a documentary of a short film. According to author, Colomina, the establishment of experimental cinema and designing of military war rooms is majorly a contribution of designers and artists. The use of artists to contribute towards designs of images and multiscreen technology is also attributed to their information about development of such models and designs. Additionally, the use of image influenced architectural developments in the world. The article, thus, generally helps the readers understand the importance of images in the development of modern day technology and growth of cinemas and television. The article was able to show the readers the significance of artists towards development of the modern day motion pictures and film.
In my work, I have used the articles concepts in producing an architectural design of a building. The design is composed of multiple images that represent different aspects of the building. The aspects include doors, windows, streets, skyline, people, and rooms. The entire structure is explained in a simple image that is used to help understand the building. The architectural impression designed from the artistic design is also based on the images used. A combination of images has thus proven to be important in my art design of an architectural project. My work therefore related to the concepts explained in the article that were used to design motion pictures and in multiscreen technology.
