Juvenile Crime Control Policy
Abstract
The purpose of initiating this study is to establish comprehensively the measures taken by the federal government to curb the escalating menace of young children being involved in criminal activities. Further, the study will conduct an in-depth analysis into the success of government and the obstacles faced in addressing this social problem.
The importance of undertaking this research is to portray the loopholes that have not been sealed despite the Federal government’s efforts to mitigate the problem. The study will also highlight the role that the society should play to assist the government in address the situation. In addition, the study will establish factors that have resulted in young people engaging in criminal activities.
These findings in this study will be of great importance to the federal government because it will conduct comprehensive research with the victims who have the true information on why they engage themselves in criminal activities. Moreover, the study will provide statistics on the approximate number of children in crime and the age-group that is prevalent in crime.
Among the laws that will provide the background information on this study will be laws enacted by the legislative assemblies of different states in the United states including Illinois, Nevada, Illinois, California and others. In addition, case studies in juvenile courts will also enlighten on the deductions made in the study. In conclusion, this study will fully support the Federal government in declaring juvenile crime a national disaster that requires urgent address to mitigate its effects.
