Brief summary of presentation
Presentations are an integral part of everyday learning. They convey educative messages which the presenter must be creative enough to pass on to the audience which may be very diverse and of different opinions on many subjects. It therefore requires one to be ready before handling any topic or audience. Presentations look simple yet a few issues have to be put into considerations before they are used for any audience, first it has to be time specific in that they should be scheduled to avoid over or under emphasis on points addressed .proper planning of the presentation session must be made. Neglecting this may lead to the presenter being disorganized, wasting a lot of time or even not understanding the audience. Enough research must be made to ensure the presenter is conversant with the audience. There should be eye to eye contact between the presenter and the subjects this ensures alertness and a chance to study audiences while at the same time watching their reaction. Creativity must also be encouraged , for instance use of tone variations, pausing before and after mentioning important points, creating jokes which break the monotony of the mood of the audience

Personal impact
I have learnt a few lessons which are important; they include proper planning before making any presentations. I need to understand my audience and topic before the date scheduled is due, this may also include designing my program, carrying enough study or research into my area of specialization. Creativity and innovation must be always encouraged in my performance to counter challenges and improve the quality of presentations. I must maintain commitment to ensuring best performance on my duties to ensure I have a good reputation and trust of my subjects This will help me win their confidence and respect, these can also be achieved if am flexible enough to learn quickly and adapt new skills which are more effective. Professionalism is very important in any setting of leadership as it draws a line between business and social life. I should also embrace positive ethics, for instance respecting everyone and avoiding gossip or rudeness, which destroy relations and steer negative attitude on certain leaders. The speaker acknowledges that one must improve while building up the presentation skills as the higher one goes the more the expectation on one’s performance is expected. I, therefore, need to accept lack of perfectionism at starting of new presentation projects and be careful to study even the minor details in my duties. I must also ensure I get along with other people in my environment to make my work better, easier and more enjoyable.
