The survey questions that I would like to ask in regards to Securitas Company are, Have you come across any logo of Securitas or do you know what Securitas is? Is how many companies in your area are provided for security by Securitas? Since Securitas joined the market have you enjoyed their services? Is there an instance that Securitas has failed you if at all you have used their services? Given a chance to rate the rate the security agencies in your local area where Securitas operates, please list the security companies that you would rank as first, second and third.
This kind of survey would be best if conducted over the phone. This is because Securitas is an international company and reaching out to everyone in person would be an uphill task. Also conducting the research over the phone would ensure the feedback is accurate and not compromised whatsoever. This is because the answers that we shall receive will not be influenced by the physical presence of the one asking the questions to the respondents (Fink, 2006).
This research was conducted by calling people at random in areas where Securitas Company was offering its services. (Bourque, Fielder and Fink, 2003)The numbers that we got came from the company’s databases where the clients would fill in their information regularly. For the non-customers the numbers were generated automatically from the online directory of the areas of concern. The respondents were being called mostly in the evening when almost everyone is back from work except those that do night shifts. Then they were requested to answer the few questions that they were about to be asked.
Upon agreement with the respondent, he/ she answered and were allowed to give further information in regards to the questions that they were asked. Their feedback was recorded for reference purposes (Salant and Dillman, 1995))
The data that was collected was varied depending on the location where the respondent was and depending on how Securitas served and individual or a company. Those that hired Securitas for social purposes responded differently to those that hired the company for business purposes. One thing that was also clear was that the feedback that we got in a large extent was honest and was not influenced by anyone or anything. The feedback also shows that the respondents had more to say since most of the feedback went beyond the questions that the respondents had been asked, which was a good thing.
