Many religions exist in this world, and every religion claims to be the best. I find Judaism to be very exciting as I love the ceremonies and all the ornamental fiddle bits. Like several other religions, Judaism is more than 3000 years old that came into existence with human civilization. I consider Judaism to be the happiest religion as its important principle is to care and adore the fellow citizen as thyself, regardless of his or her religion. An interesting feature in Judaism is that the men wear a small dish-shaped cap to cover their head at all times to fulfil any requirement, as it is stated in the Talmud (central text followed by Jews).
As stated by , many forces in modern generation lead to the decline of religion as many believe in general modernism, and some beliefs lead to secularism, where governments run a country without the need for religion; individualism and multi-culturalism are gaining prominence. An increase in the number of people becoming spiritual and less religious is a social trend affecting the formation of religions. When people say they are spiritual but not religious, it means only spirituality matters to them, and they are not interested in structured religion, and this belief does not lead them to be involved in holy places. Another trend is the growing influence of digital media and internet.
People are spending more time online, or on phones and losing faith as religious congregations. The other trend is individualism as it has made religious conviction an isolated choice, not a mutual one.
Religion is not only dictated by gods, as religion can also be formed by a person who shares his or her view about religion and other people blindly follow the perception. The people who create new movements are bound by self-consciousness and duties, and not by any tradition. Legitimating their rights by mentioning a sacred authority, these people embed an appealing leader by exploiting the right to dictate the movement’s principles, and create a new lifestyle.
