UNFORTUNATE KIDS FOUNDATION
Over 100 people attended to the 6th annual dinner gala and fundraiser event on February 11th 2016 in support of the Unfortunate Kids Scholarship program which provides exemplary students from poor backgrounds with scholarships in the United States. The dinner gala event which took place at the Treasure Island Wines in San Francisco grossed over $600,000 in which more than $200,000 was raised through the foundation’s website which as open to contributors across the country thus marking the foundation’s most successful fundraiser event since its inception six years ago.
The experience from White brought in during the fundraiser event created an atmosphere for the people to raise and support the children in the country who suffer due to lack of education and food. White’s speech was a sufficient tool to help raise the amount in addition to his previous campaigns in the social media and television advertisements through the organization.
“The whole event was very inspiring to the students who come from the unfortunate backgrounds and most particularly the African-American children who are subject to racism and discrimination in the country” exclaims Andrew Gray the Foundation coordinator for Unfortunate Kids. “All the attendees contributed with zeal to see young talents provided for an opportunity to survive in the competitive American job markets and the business world” the foundation coordinator continued.
“We loved to have Mr. White in our fundraiser event and we will invite him for many more events in the future as he has proven to be very inspirational to the people due to his success history in the country. The people loved him, and I can say the same about the students who look at him as a mentor and this provides them with the enthusiasm to work harder and achieve their potential. I think the opportunity they are provided for to join college will provide them with the chance to explore their potential and push the country’s innovative power to another level” Gray adds.
