Question one
Segregation was a common vice that to place in most of the social amenities. The fact that the available public facilitates were used separately by the white and black due to the concern of superiority and inferiority that existed between the two races. Although the separate facilitate did attribute to the segregation it also had benefits on the fight against the segregation practice (Brinkley, 2007 p.34).
The separate public facilities motivate the African-American leader to fight for creation of doctrine that should allow room for separate but equal public facilities. In other words, it means that this facilitates led to fight to the end of discrimination of the black people. The separate facilities were very beneficial especially in the legal perspective since it gave the African -American leader a power to argue out that the black people got equal right to quality education and access to quality public facilities (Brinkley, 2007 p.44).
These facilities supported the main goals and objectives of becoming a free person through the development of an action that allows a citizen to file a case with the attorney on the violation of the right to access and obtain quality public facilities and services thus advocating for equality in all aspects of life regardless of race and color (Brinkley, 2007 p.45).
Question two
Segregation was not given the first prior in all parts of America after the civil war. Most attention was shifted to other factors such getting involved in the elections neglecting the most crucial vice that was oppressing the black race. In a general point of view much was not done concerning eradication of the practice thus calling for a later formalization by the black codes (Parida, 2009 p. 50).
For an effective elimination of segregation the leaders concerned with the welfare of the black people should have filed in a case and seek a fast process in the implementation of the laws that protect the rights of the people. They should also have conducted a public awareness on evils associated with segregation, and it should be eliminated from the society. There was need to form more groups that would emphases on the importance of freedom in the context of segregation (Parida, 2009 p. 53).
This measure could have worked effectively and segregation would not have continued after the civil war. It could have been possible because the people would tend to solve the evil in the society in order to coexist smoothly hence making the political arena more stable. It could have motivated the citizen both black and white to start appreciating each other irrespective of the history (Parida, 2009 p. 57).
Question Three
America West believes to have been developed or settled at the expense of the Native Americans. It basically means that its existence is as a result of present of native people. It was quiet a difficult task bearing in mind that there were also present of foreigner who played a significant role in the settlement (Barth, 2002 p. 24).
Most of the American natives settled in the west America resulting in the development of different cultural practices because the different tribes come together. Interaction of diverse tribe has created a mutual understanding between the people thus leading to the formation a stable government system. The settlement of the Natives in this particular region has facilitated abrupt developments in terms of economic and social setup. This means that the people adopt to the region more effectively despite the challenges encountered (Zott, 2012 p. 45).
The fact that the west region of America was settled at the expense of the Native America has lead to a variety of positive impacts for instance has attracted many local investors to exploit the available resource and offer suitable and quality service to the residents. The effects brought by these changes are positive because they have changed the living standards of the Native residence as compared to the foreign (Barth, 2002 p. 36).
Question four
The settlement of the native in the western region of America comes along with the negative impact to both the economy and the social life of the America country. The native is privileged to settle in the west but on another perspective it is a disadvantage because the region is limited to the natives ideologies and governance in most of the sector (Zott, 2012 p. 45).
This paint the country a negative image in the sense that their political state is challenged by the opinion that there is no equal distribution of resource to both the foreign immigrate and the native settler. It negatively affected the foreign settler because they are not regarded as the residence of the region hence less priority is direct to them especially at the early stages of development in the economy (Barth, 2002 p. 29).
It simply implies that the government invested more on the local natives by offering more opportunities for the investment and creating an initiative to motivate them. This therefore disadvantage the foreign residents. The opinion suggests that a high degree of discrimination was in practice during the settlement period since the foreigners did not get an equal chance to settle in the west region terming it settled at the expense of the native only.
