Summary
Since the Republican Administration came into power, there have been a lot of issues that have faced the ordinary citizens, and they are doing little about it. They have tried to separate the people into different regions and American groups. From threatening farmers to drive up the food prices to the working mothers being the cause of their families falling apart and telling the American labour, they are ruining the free enterprise. They have tried to pit each group against each other, and they assume all the citizens concerns. The leadership is doing everything opposite of what they say on TV; they sell arms to a terrorist and promote drug trade. There exist low wages and dead-end jobs, and the number of homeless people has shot, the American economy has fallen and the nation has a great debt.
America should be a fair country, where everybody is equal no matter what culture and region you are from, we deserve a good education system, better health care and leaders with the people's interests. Leaders should bring Americans together in all facets (region, economies and lead by example). There should be a reciprocated respect for the human dignity and people to work together for the common good. Leaders should create a better America to live in unity for many generations to come. They should appreciate all the changes that we have achieved from the dark days of racism, tribalism, torture and inequality. We have fought together many political fights that have seen us achieve small victories and triumphs. Nobody should take that away from us. We pride ourselves in being the greatest nation, and our might lies in the good American citizens who toil daily to make ends meet; who should never be forgotten.
Texas abandoned her national existence to join the confederated union in hopes to promote its welfare, insure internal peace and liberty to its citizens. Texas joined the confederation with her constitution and as a commonwealth holding to protect the Negro slavery institution. But this was long overdue to be overlooked and had led to the destruction of the Texas institutions by the US federal governments. They have failed to protect Texas from the neighbouring territories; justice and humanity is overlooked. The government has assumed all the grievances posed by Texas. There is hatred between the slaveholding and non-slaveholding states that have resulted into a hopeless minority. The Southern rights are not protected anymore, but all the other states do is bring chaos and tragedy to the slave-holding states. Due to this must the slaveholding states to unify in excluding itself from the federal government.
Political sophistication determines individuals' ability to make causal associations. It also influences the choice of presidential candidate that individuals choose based on judgements relating to personal and national economic importance. For this reason, pocketbook voting should be for the politically sophisticated voters who can connect the expected changes in their personal financial status to the government policies. They comprehend that there are many aspects that come in play when looking at the country's economy beyond the President's control. The less sophisticated voters always think that the country's economy is in the President's hand and thus tend to vote in those lines. The less sophisticated identify more with sociotropic evaluations in deciding who to vote in as the incumbent.
