The article is based on how the Animal House, which was mocked by many people instead of being, glorified. This is one of the many wars in the pop culture fraternities where various people in this field do not acknowledge the work of their fellow colleagues. The story in the comedy was about students in a fictional university who were trying to keep their fellow fraternity members from being kicked off campus. The issue that was portrayed in the comedy has played a major role in today’s popular culture because not only do fraternities hate each other in the Greek systems it leads to discrimination that does not portray a good picture when it comes to popular culture.
Animal house and other movies that came after the comedy on fraternities show that the fraternities in colleges are depicted as places when young boys and girls drink a lot of alcohol, smoke marijuana and cocaine among other hard drugs, and women are treated poorly. Therefore, the war on fraternities shows a different picture of the popular culture.

Critique
According to the point of view of the author, it can be seen people have started to believe the fascism that is exhibited in the fictional movies. Although the film states that the characters and subject matter of the film are fictional, people go ahead to believe what the directors have to say. Therefore, by reading through the article a person or student can understand that peoples believe have been tarnished by the fascism of the films.

Critique
The article gives a clear understanding that popular culture and economics are inseparable. For that reason, the student and the reader get a clear understanding of the concepts that are related to both popular culture and economics and how they are fused together. This is significant because many people separate the two issues not knowing that economics plays a significant role in popular culture.
