A three-dimensional, 3D, image is an object that has elevation, thickness, and depth. Three-dimensional printing refers to different processes used to create a three-dimensional object. It starts with creating a design of the object you want to. The design is prepared in Computer Aided Design file using 3D software (if it is a new object) or a 3D scanner (for an existing one). Since its birth in 1976 and 3D technology has widely affected many fields. The application of 3D technologies to culture has provided successful results, on conservation, valorisation and heritage diffusion. The emergence of 3D printers has opened a new horizon for the heritage field. It has helped in the restoration of missing parts to ancient images which have resulted in the preservation of culture. Through the use of 3d printers, images have been shared all over the world; this has helped in cultural integration. Cultural heritage is being affected positively by 3D technology. Ancient drawings, for example, Da Vinci’s work are avail to all people. Three-dimensional printing has also helped to make storage of these images secure, when scanned they can last for long than when in hard copies.
According to a report published on November 22, 2013 - 7:03 pm by Jer Faludi it was discovered that other inkjet printers have worse ecological impacts than the 3d ones. Media, the plural of medium, refers to the main means of mass communication as radios, newspapers, and television. The media has experienced a significant influence from three-dimension technology. In advertising many images used are 3d as there is a perception it will influence more people.
In entertainment and news media firms are concentrating on 3D technology. Many people are learning on how to develop 3D images and objects through the social media. There is an expansion of 3D images market, through social media people are getting more customers all over the world.
