A Customer benefit package is combining of services and goods to the primary product that is ordered. The aim of combining goods is to add value to the final product that a customer gains. The main product that attracts attention to the customer is referred to as the primary product, and the additional goods or services are referred to peripheral goods. A good example is like in a restaurant; a meal may be offered along with a newspaper along it (Glanz, 102). The newspapers are the peripheral goods. Or simply, ensuring that there is free internet in a restaurant makes customers enjoy internet along their meals. A qualification aim of the customer benefit package is to create much laxity or improve the quality of the goods so as to attract customers. It also helps in the maintenance of the customer since they receive better services than before.
There are several benefits that have been noted due to the customer benefit package when buying and new suit and accessories from the store. The benefits along the clothing include; what markets it or attract the customers to buy a suit (Austria: Report on Observance of Standards and Codes-Fat Recommendations for Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism, 89). Therefore, the addition of the benefit ensures that the products are attractive, and that it sells very fast as compared to other products that have benefited along with them. The benefits do sell the product as well as adding a big benefit along the cloth. Marketers are said to use the benefit along the product it to market. A good example is using the new suit with a necklace jewel along it. The accessories too can be marketed by a benefit of a beautiful package box or gift boxes. This will lure many customers to the product, irrespective of the price.
The benefits added along the new suit and the accessories are used to define the product offered to the customer. This is clearly shown by the necklace along the new suit. They are both compatible in the sense that the necklace is worn along with the suit to accessorize it (Payment Protection Insurance Market Investigation, 243). On the other hand, accessories require to be placed in a good place for their maintenance, and that is why they provide the storage box free along the accessories. This encourages the customer to buying the product.
The customer benefit package serves as the guidelines for the employees when selling the products. Each product has a matching benefit along it in the clothing store that is known by the sellers. They also provide a communication channel to reach the customer. This is because one has a lot of explaining about the benefits of the product to the customer (Glanz, 98). This enhances good and effective communication among the buyers and sellers. It also creates a permanent relationship ensuring that they have constant customers.
The customer benefit package prices are usually included in the price of the main product in most stores, though the customers cannot tell. The products are just placed there as free, but in the real sense their prices are inclusive along the main product. This is a lying act of the customer of which they undergo losses without their own consent. Most of the products of the customer benefit packages are not sold like other ordinary clothes since their prices are usually higher (Austria: Report on Observance of Standards and Codes-Fat Recommendations for Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism, 132). On the other hand, if the seller of the products gave out the products for free, they would always make losses. This is because they have to buy the accessories and also, fitting accessories for the suits in the store. Therefore, they have to act as if they are free, so that they can market other food, while, in the real sense, their prices are included in the main products.
Use of the method of providing the customer with benefits is tedious and time consuming. This is because the sellers have to find the perfect match that is automatically appealing to the customer, and that is beneficial. They also have to do lots of calculating to ensure that they do not make losses. This is because, in case of a new suite, not all necklaces can be worn along with it. They have to look for a specific kind for a specific suit until they can find it. They accessories also must be sold with beautiful eyes appealing boxes that will be given as a free benefit to the buying customer (Payment Protection Insurance Market Investigation, 342). Therefore, a lot of time is wasted as they try to search for the specific matching fit for the clothing and the accessories too.
Clothing and accessories are usually of a basic need. They are highly bought in the marks and people value many of them, especially where they are given free ornaments along them. Therefore, more of the sellers are implementing the idea of giving benefits to customers who buy in their stores. This method has lots of positive benefits as compared to the negativities along it. It is also a modernized act where someone buys everything needed to be used in line with the product in one pack, and is much cheaper.
