In terms of how the organization took care of their people, there is an emphasis on not only having commitment to the welfare of the employees but also ensuring that the well-being of their employees is looked after even after their work performance has been evaluated. This is vital in ensuring that the commitment of the employees towards the corporation is unquestionable and goes a long way in refining the productivity of the employees (Synovus Financial Corp. SWOT Analysis, 2014). The other aspect discussed in the reading is the value based leadership whereby the leadership of the organization knew that their behavior towards the other employees reflected on how the company was perceived. The leadership style that was emphasized is one that enables the leaders to serve their people. In terms of the connections of the bible, Synovus tried to make all their business dealings without undercutting the interests of the people and ensuring that everyone got a fair share of the input that they had placed (Pierre, 2011). The values that the author has tried to explain is that when the leaders are brought up in Godly ways, then there is a tendency that makes them ethical leaders as the teachings of the bible influence the decision that they make every day.
