The author states that the economic progress is associated with a lot of painful experiences. The issues relating to regional economic imbalances in the U.S are well elaborated by the author in this article. The dangers of food insecurity were given close analysis and consideration. The aspects of production are of the essence in the facilitating smooth flow of the economy of a nation. The use of modern technological and scientific knowledge plays a crucial role in boosting the economic progress and sustainability in the whole globe. This article shows the role of government in facilitating economic progress through various development policies.
The role of the U.S in influencing the economic activities in Europe and Asia is also outlined in this article. The author shows the indirect effect of trading activities among the continents leading to dependence on the economic development. The approach of the author towards relationship between anthropology and the development of social institutions was not clear making the article unreliable to some extent. The aspects of anthropology in relation to the development of social institutions should be elaborated well so as to make the article reliable and valid for research.
In the article, EMPIRE, By Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri, it is clearly shown that the aspects of capitalists are of the essence in influencing the economic forces in the various parts of the world. The authors also gave emphasis on globalization of production in capitalist movements. The article shows the importance of people, technology and good in the capitalist movements towards improvement and regional effects on the economy. The impact of workers on the profits of the capitalists are also explained in details. The authors argued very well that the decrease in levels of national sovereignty is responsible for the failure of such countries in controlling the effects of culture and social influence on the overall economic progress. The authors based their arguments on the historical theories in explaining the impact on the economy and general trade practices. This article is reliable and valid for research purposes on the development theory. The authors failed to use statistical evidence in order to back up their arguments on economic challenges faced by the various empires discussed in the article.
In the article, SPACES OF GLOBALISM, By David Harvey, the aspects of volatility in the economic and political environment are elaborated in details. The issues relating to regional income inequalities are also outlined in this article. The mechanisms to reduce the impact poverty on the society have also been given emphasis and concentration. The social institutions and theories have also been given emphasis and focus in explaining the development theory. The sociological theories in this article are of the essence in demonstrating the impact of economic forces on the population and the society in general. This article borrowed heavily from the tested theories making it very reliable and valid for research and decision making concerning the economy and social changes. The regional economic imbalances and inequality are also elaborated in detail making the article relevant for research on development theory. The experience of the author of this article also improves the reliability and trust attached to the article for use in research purposes. The author to some extent failed to use statistical evidence in supporting his arguments. This makes the article not very appealing to the readers.
