Introduction
Dissemination evidence of the efficiency of the proposed implementation of the obesity management programs for the children in public schools to the stakeholders and nursing community is critical in determining its success. The project stakeholders and the nursing community play a critical role in the implementation process, follow-up of the program, and towards evidence-based improvements. Various information dissemination methods and tools to test the evidence of the spread of the news will be employed to suit the different stakeholders and the nursing community (Rush, 2001).
Strategy for Disseminating Results of Project to key Stakeholders
The stakeholders to the project include varying groups that are concerned with public health, public school education, and the children rights advocacy. Parents and guardians are the decision-makers for the children. For the project to be effective, the parents and guardians have to allow it to be practiced. The method for dispersing the news to the parents will be through mass and social media platforms, personalized emails, and through Government and school websites. The parents will be availed with copies of the entire scope of the project from the preliminary research, implementation, expected outcomes, and will continue receiving updates on the progress of the model. Interactive social media forums and a dedicated website for the program will be used to sensitize, educate, report, and gather feedback from the parents and members of the public (Brownson, Colditz, & Proctor, 2012).
The Government regulatory bodies and the school management boards will determine the adoption of the process through their approval. Copies of the entire research will be sent to the management boards and Government oversight bodies for their approval. Personalized emails and post delivery will be employed. Information data sheets will be used to collect feedback. The progressive results from the project will be shared with these stakeholders for their reviews and feedback (Rush, 2001, p. 5).
The teachers and the matrons will be critical to delivering the model to the target, collecting valuable information to measure its efficiency, and offering evidence-based information for improvement of the program. Apart from the mass, social media, school websites, program website, personalized copies of the entire project will be sent to them by email and by post. In addition, the teachers will attend seminars, workshops, and training programs aimed at sharing the information about the program, its progress, and methods to improve it. The seminars will be held at regional levels and the information gathered in all the regions availed in the project website to be accessible by all interested persons. The children will be taught in class about the program (Brownson, Colditz, & Proctor, 2012, pp. 3-5).
Strategy for Disseminating Significance of Project Outcomes to Greater Nursing Community
The nursing community plays a critical role in ensuring community health and hence the success of the program. The information about the program will be shared to the nursing community through direct collaboration with the model administration. The program administrators will work jointly in implementing, follow-up, evaluation, and improvement of the design. The nursing community and the program administrators will jointly release annual reports about the program to the public and other key stakeholders. The report will be used to measure the dissemination of the program information to the nursing community (Melynk & Fineout-Overholt, 2005).
Conclusion
Dissemination of the program information to the key stakeholders is critical in ensuring its approval, adoption, and successful implementation. Spreading of the information will engage the stakeholders in continued evaluation, improvements, and improvement of the model. The shared evaluation results, evidence-based reports and interactive forums will offer feedback that will be used to recommend, improve, or terminate the program.
