5S refers to a system that is applied with the main reason of reducing wastages, while optimizing productivity through the maintenance of order at the workplace, and applying visual cues with the view of achieving a consistent operational outcome. The 5S has been applied in most manufacturing facilities in order to generate efficient teamwork cooperation and coordination. It is also a mainstream methodology used as part of continuous improvement on the lean manufacturing platform. Indeed, 5S is fundamentally applied alongside other frameworks of visual appeal, and they basically include five significant steps, sort, set in order, shine, work standardization, and sustainability of operations (Condia, & Sadri, 2015). Moreover, 5S programs are adopted under team work to bring materials closer to operations, with the delivery of these materials taking place at the workers’ fingertips, and organized for action with minimal wastages, but huge productivity.
There are means in which 5S model is implemented in a team process, and the first aspect being training of the entire team about the vision and objectives of the company. The training should also involve spurring positive ideology to the team members by making them understand the motive behind the company’s adoption of the 5S model. The training will require assistive manifestation from personalities like,, consultants, trainers, and facility motivators. This is the simplest approach to in implementing 5S methodology in a small team.

I have pioneered for the instigation of 5S methodology in producing this product. One strategy that the team has benefited is adequate knowledge, and environment of this method within its fold. Sharing positive values of the organization, and adopting a competitive mood has significantly exalted the organization in meeting its demands, and reducing wasted at work (Condia, & Sadri, 2015). No time is lost since every process is destined to take a predetermined time, and as such everyone is committed to this deadline.
