All along the advanced nursing class, I would not help but enjoy the whole learning process. This class has greatly expanded my perspective on how various advanced theoretical nursing concepts can be applied in research and problem solving in general. In my endeavor to become an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), learning about concept analysis, evidence-based practice and how to perfect my synthesis writing skills have proven to be invaluable to my learning process. Through evidence-based nursing practice, I will be able to be diligently and judiciously use the current best evidence at hand and incorporate my clinical expertise and patient values so as to to guide me in my healthcare decisions.
I also appreciated learning how synthesis writing is vital when trying to answer various clinical questions for implementation purposes. This advanced class also majored its focus on equipping us with an immense base of knowledge especially in regard to frameworks and models for nursing practice, for instance, the synergy model. In general, this class has been very helpful in sharpening my skills which I will ultimately apply in the field as an APRN.
Reflection Statement On What I Have Learned In My Pathophysiology Class
In addition, I have managed to learn how to interpret various interactions among the human body systems. I am now equipped with an extensive knowledge base in other branches of study such as etiology and epidemiology and all the issues concerning them. It is therefore through this that I will be able continuously work to improve patient outcomes and nursing care in my practice as an APRN.
