The study of Applied Behavior Analysis Program is of immense benefit to my studies. In my studies, in the University of Maryland, I have encountered several cases of autism. This requires a solid understanding of behavior analysis. While I was growing up, I had an encounter with many students who have challenges of autism. With this knowledge and background, I became interested in learning how to treat these cases. I started being interested in learning the human behavior. I have researched and seen how many researchers have studied this problem. I understand that there is a lot of suffering in the society due to autism. With the right knowledge and expertise, this problem will be totally eradicated. Applied Behavior Analysis Program has been recognized as the treatment of autism. It is safe and effective. This is the reason I am enrolling for this program. I believe that, with this knowledge, I will be able to serve those who have been affected by this challenge. I will be of help to the children who are suffering from this program. My passion to serve the community will be fulfilled. This program has been endorsed by many medical bodies and even the New York State Department of Health. With this endorsement, I will be sure to be of considerable service to most autism victims.
It is beneficial for me to study this discipline in my school because of the environment that I am living with. In the University of Maryland, there are several students from varied backgrounds. This is a crucial component that will assist me while undertaking this program. With this, I will be able to understand the requirements for the various cultures that we have in the world. It is essential to understand the different cultures and how autism has affected them. With different students and patients that we have in the campus, I will be able to gain experience in handling the various autism cases for the different cultures. Culture becomes a vital aspect when treating autism. The study of autism requires that the perspectives of the various cases are well understood. This requires that the different perspectives of different people is well understood. With this knowledge, it will be necessary to understand the different perspectives, both from the faculty and students. The program has been running for long in college and this makes it well versed with the requirements for the treatment of this condition. This will enable me to understand the various issues that have been of significant concern for the treatment of autism. The college has different students and patients from all over the world. The wide culture that the college has is enough to understand the cultural perspective of the treatment of this condition. This will enable me to work in any location, in the world, because of the experience I have. The competence in college is a guarantee as there are many professionals who are out there working in the field who have successfully managed autism. They came from college and with their experience and what they gained from the college; they have been able to work in different parts of the world. The diversity that we have in college is enough (Cooper 114).
In learning about this program, I will become a psychologist who understands behavior change management. I would like to be a behavior therapist and understand the effects of a given behavior. With this knowledge, I will be able to assist children suffering from autism. This way, I will be able to diagnose autism patients and understand how they can be helped to overcome their problems. My professional aspirations are to undertake this course and be able to understand the developments of autism in various conditions. With the change that is seen to be taking place in the culture and the use of technology, there will be other complications that will come from the changing behavior. This is my area of research, and I would like to exploit this field.
I believe that applied behavior analysis program is the right course for me. This is because of the degree in which behavior management is given while undertaking this program. I believe that the behavior units are necessary in order to achieve my goals. I also believe that the program has been running long enough, and there are many successful experiences that the college has gained from the running of this course. This is enough evidence to understand the importance of this program. I believe that the faculty members have seen many researches being done regarding behavior management and autism and they, therefore, have enough experiences in handling this case. The college has been offering this course long enough to understand the current trends and the history of this program. The course is comprehensive, and the curriculum is conclusive to understand what is required in this field. I believe that, after graduating, I will be able to be of immense service to any patient from any part of the world.
