provide some pictures with it and please make sure you write the vision as whole in economic , electronic ..etc
In the Introduction on the official Bahraini Vision 2030 web page the first few words describe it as “ a comprehensive economic vision for Bahrain ” . On that first gateway page they refer to their 6% per annum GDP that they have enjoyed over the last five years and observes that to maintain their economic success they have to rise to meet three challenges. They further define these challenges as relating to employment, innovation and the global market, and seizing the opportunities the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) offers. The focus areas for this development they envision to be:
- Sustainability
- Competitiveness
- Fairness
- Economy
- Government
- Society
.
One of the key foundation blocks of the Economic Vision 2030 is “to shift from an economy built on oil wealth” . In order to do the Bahrain Economic Development Board envisions this shift will come about from the combined cooperative efforts of the government and the private sector. This recognizes the need for reform guided by the essential principals that will lead the nation reach its aspirations. “The ultimate aim is to ensure that every Bahraini household has at least twice as much disposable income - in real terms - by 2030” .
Bahrain seeks to develop its economy by diversifying non-oil growth by capitalizing on its geographic location and stable government structure that encourages foreign investment. In addition to nurturing its export industries, it sees tourism, business services, manufacturing and logistics as areas for potential logistics. .
Bahrain’s strategic location favors growth in its export economy as well as developing its logistical advantages to serve as a regional hub for the GCC nations.
In addition to economic development the kingdom recognizes the need to care for its citizens in terms of healthcare and education so that each individual can reach their highest potential and together carry the nation forward. Other quality of life considerations are conserving natural spaces, developing energy efficiency and channeling capital towards technology and sustainable energy. .
The diversity evident in the photo on their facebook page shows how greatly they appreciate how much their multicultural elements enhance the society as a whole.
One of their successful projects is the new Bahrain International Investment Park (BIIP) that is part of the Salman Industrial City. In this development the nation has clustered their Industries together to maximize industrial cross-fertilization, in this manner it embodies the vision that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. By combining electronics, manufacturing and information technology in a central location it reduces the infrastructure needed, and the energy resources wasted to transport products for domestic use or export from their conceptonal origins through to the final manufacturing and consumer or wholesale packaging. .
In addition to their favorable placement in the GCC Bahrain also looks to the Free Trade Agreement they have with the United States of America to attract foreign investment in the growing information, electronic and manufacturing industries now blossoming in the kingdom. .
