Dolce Gabbana 2012 spring collection is the most stunning collection in the year around. This is perhaps the most conspicuous and impressive and in order to make it more pronounceable, I have chosen to use my project of a shopping bag. Most designers fail in the tasks, since they are not quite sure about the preference and tastes of their customers. This becomes very apparent mostly when designing for women. However, not every designer has failed in this part, Dolce Gabbana has achieved his main target and he is being imitated by most designers. In most of the designs for women, he has applied the concept of vegetable prints on clothing. Women like stunning and beautiful things; regardless of the prices such items are offered. I think he settles on using the vegetable prints considering that most women have a passion in kitchen-related issues and a basket resembling, fruits and so forth raises an urge to eat. Also the vegetable prints are naturally elegant.
Dolce Gabbana aimed at delivering the best and most compatible product during the spring season. A product that could relate to the season it was meant for. His vision was far sighted and not short sighted. He aimed at a brand that could play a significant role throughout the entire spring period.
This is very apparent from the shopping bag that I prepared for my project. It is a bag that has been keenly prepared top last and perform only specific purposes. The concept applied in making the basket is neither a new trend, nor a modified only one, but, it is somewhat a flattering look. This is what the Dolce Gabbana spring 2012 conducts their designing. The selection of the color for the basket handles has also to match with the basket pattern. Additionally, the designers have even their Logo on their product and this offers them a better promotion technique. The blue color has to be maintained in creating an outline for the logo. That mines, for their brands, they value blue color and this is evident even from some of the visual artistic works and fixtures for purposes of display.
For the purpose of selling their products to the outside world, the basket pattern has been maintained but the colors have been changed. In the latter, tone color has been used as it looks stunning and appealing to the eyes. Blue color has been maintained around the logo. The colors are compatible and not clashing. Additionally, the use of a flowery concept resembles a feminist concept since most women loves flowers and thus might go for this product. The basket is highly sophisticated, and suitably matched beauty and style.
The Store Floor plan and elevation Design also appears in a trendy style. The store floor has been given a face by using the blue color to match the color on the logo. Together with that, the fixtures are the latest models, while as the entrance is very appealing to the eyes. One just feels, he/she is in the right place. Furthermore, the elevation is elegant and inviting from far. This adds a great feeling of reassurance while in this place. Everything is well planned for and at its right place with the right color.
There are various reasons that could have led me into choosing to work on this project and use a basket as my main project. Myself, I am moved by bright colors and this was the reason that in most of my drawings I have used bright colors. Together with that, in my country, we are used to carrying a basket while going to a supermarket and this mostly happens in case one is buying vegetables and fruits. This is where the whole concept of vegetables evolved from. While out, in Beverly Hills, I passed near Dolce Gabbana store and I saw vegetables in the store and almost everyone with them in the street. This arouses my childhood memory about the basket and the vegetables and I therefore enjoy everything I do while conducting my project.
