Introduction
Culture ranges from the way people dress; the foods people eat, the way people speak, people's norms, customs, beliefs as well as their thinking and perception in life. Such involvement has been featured by a common consumption of many ways of lives by the effect of modernization that has considerably been influenced by the Internet, a culture media that of late is gaining popularity as well as the international travels over and over again. The globalization in cultural practices has involved formation and the innovation of the norms alongside knowledge sharing, with which individuals associate themselves as well as their cultural identities collectively. Those are the effects that have caused the increased interconnectedness amongst varied populace as well as cultures in the world and has caused erosion of other cultures resulting in the dominance of specific cultural practices. Cultures that tend to practice and exercise some of their customs and norms that proves and is taken as outdated and that do not conform to the current modernity is seen to be outdated, old fashioned and ceases to exist.
Cultural globalization saw the domination of a given and particular way of life among specific people who tend to follow a given code of life as per the requisition of the modern way of living and existence. Food and eating habits regarding the type of foods being consumed have changed with the change of the cultural globalization that has come with the integration and interaction with different people differently. A grand and visible instance and part of social globalization are the dissemination of given cuisines like the American fast food chains. There are two beverage and food outlets that have seen global success making products that provide different foods as well as refreshments for the common man distinct from the foodstuff used to be taken a long time ago. The difference in the meeting of people differently has caused the diffusion of the old ways and modes of foods consumed and has seen new consumables as well as drinks such that cultures that don't follow the trend are done away totally. Such changes are social and economic binding in the sense only those peoples who follow the decor tend to dominate over others that don't.
Americanization has had a worldwide influence in the sense of their products used all over the world, their mode of dressing, their level of intelligence, their institutions regarded to be the best in the whole world to offer quality education among other things. Such effect has caused the over domination of a single cultural belief and practice overriding on others and trampling others down the foot. Key as well as Major American based companies, for instance, the McDonald’s and the Coca-Cola has been very significant and has played a big role in the spreading of the American culture world over such that the American way is the only way. These are some of the key players in cultural domination over others making other cultures sound and seem useless and baseless.
In the war for unity, the world has always taught the value of the adoption of one way of doing things, and this has been facilitated broadly the extensive use and application of the social media as part and parcel of the technological advancement. A westernized education system that resulted from cultural globalization during colonization is in some countries a symbol of national unity as well as a tool of enlightenment and has made people go one way in reasoning, behavior, speaking, dressing codes, eating habits as well as perception and reaction to life issues. Such has seen the throwing away of some cultural practices, customs, norms, and beliefs and it has also tended to make people run away from their cultural identities for fear of being branded outdated and in the process, some cultures have been seen as fake and not relevant in the current society. The Internet has been on the forefront to facilitate worldwide integration and interaction among people, and this has been termed as globalization. It has seen the making of the earth be a global village, the oneness with it has created over domination of a specific code of conduct and way of life among people causing other cultural activities that don't fit in the current digital world vague hence rendered useless.
In conclusion, any form of any circulation of any form of culture enables persons to be a partaker in the extended social relations which in the mere sense gets to cross national as well as regional boundaries. Such an expansion of any such social relationship should not at any time get a mere observation on a material level. Cultural diversity is the beauty of any society, and efforts should be geared towards promoting different cultural standings for a diverse and a rich cultural heritage as well as enrichment.
