Keepass would be useful especially for a person who prefers using simple password because he is prone to forget those passwords. Using keepass will give the user an option of using strong passwords with his accounts because he just needs to install this program in his system and then there is no need to memorize those passwords. One advantage of using keepass is that even if your data is saved in a database, the passwords stored are encrypted although the user names are not. One problem with using keepass though is that someone may open your accounts when they use your computer and you are logged in because they just have to open them from your dbase. No further authentication is required. A solution would be to make sure that you do not leave your keepass account logged in when you leave the computer.

Lastpass is also a great way of saving passwords. It can let you share login credentials with other people without even letting them see the and passwords. A URL is just sent to them and you’ll just have to accept it and you can already open the account. One drawback I found is that, you can be automatically logged in to lastpass once the computer is opened so there is a tendency that other computer users will be able to open your accounts.
An advantage of lastpass on the other hand is that is it not computer specific. You can access your save sites in any other computer as long as there is lastpass installed in it. Just make sure that you logged out especially when using a public computer because lastpass automatically lets inputs the login credentials in a saved site if you are logged in. It will be good to use this software but only in my laptop of PC at home.

This type of cognitive biometrics may be efficient especially for people with strong memory of facial features. However, personally, I find this difficult to use especially when the faces are almost the same because I find it hard to remember faces. On the other hand, this would be a good way of authentication since it deviates from the common security method of typing in passwords.

I learned that password managers do not need only mean installing specific software in your computer to save them. I learned how the OpenID works since I’ve been encountering websites asking me if I would want to logn using my opened. One need just to remember his opened url and he’ll not have the burden of memorizing all those user accounts and passwords.

I consider the use of OpenID easy to use because you just have to memorize your PIP URL and you can already access your accounts, although, it is limited to the websites which supports the use of OpenID. It thinks that its use can be recommended to be used by other as long as you do not divulge your PIP URL. On the other hand, its security can be a little vulnerable since only the URL is required so once you know your url you can already log in. It may not be that safe to use OpenID in accessing your bank information because the OpenIDs security relies on the extent of security the websites provides.
