People of all ages need to exercise and incorporate fitness into their daily routine because it is a necessary part of a healthy life. Young people need to be aware of the fact that they need to be physically fit on order to be able to perform various roles in life. Mental health is related to physical health because the body needs to receive the energy which is transformed into feeling good and positive about life in general.
An average person is supposed to use walking as a form of exercise because that is a natural form of becoming fit. This is also related to survival in times of need because people should not depend on technology in order to be able to lead a good and enjoyable life. Exercising is a form of healthy living and a very important part of it because people are active beings and sedentary lifestyle can cause many illnesses. Levels of physical fitness depend on various aspects: “The elements of fitness believed to be measured by physical performance tests include such attributes as muscular strength, agility, endurance, flexibility, and motor coordination” (Rarick and Reddan 516). Therefore, it is evident that human beings need more than just exercising in order to be physically fit. Good nutrition is also essential because balanced meals are the key to having a healthy body. Having enough sleep is also important because people need to have a good rest in order to be ready to perform everyday tasks in life.
There are many benefits of fitness and being healthy is one of the most important. Having a long life can be full of suffering if a person does not take care of the physical health. Moreover, the holistic approach is the best and fitness should be regarded as being beneficial for the mind as well as for the body. Regular exercise can prevent many illnesses and it is always a good idea to invest in one’s health because it leads to happiness. There is a certain appeal related to fitness products and it is interested to observe the way in which people respond to these changes within a society: “cultural explanations are required to explain how the trend took the particular shape it did” (Glassner 180). People in modern culture get encouraged to be in shape and to maintain their physical form which means that they should also spend on exercising equipment.
People also develop their personalities through exercising and this is also a proof of the fact that there is a relationship between mind and body. “Fitness activities afford many Americans the opportunity to disenthrall their selves from the perceived shortcomings of everyday life in modern culture” (Glassner 182). Everybody is encouraged to shape their new personalities in accordance with their wishes because the field of fitness is always expanding and the outcome depends on the individual capabilities, both mental and physical. A person who is physically fit usually has strong mental capabilities because it takes a lot of stamina to achieve a great level of fitness. Therefore the culture of fitness has to be encouraged among the general population so that people might be able to maintain their health for as long as they live. Most of the deceases of modern time are related to the sedentary lifestyle and can be prevented.
Being healthy and choosing to exercise is what is most important in life because when a persona has good health, they have everything. “Fitness is portrayed as a way to protect oneself from characteristic ills of modern culture such as drug abuse, depression, and eating disorders” (Glassner 182). This lifestyle developed through time and people have always been active since ancient times. However, modern times made a sedentary lifestyle possible and that is why the promotion of health and fitness is important. It is natural for a human body to be in movement and to go through various processes of physical activity.
There is the whole fitness industry related to the promotion of health which means that economic benefit is also relevant. “If the advertisements and publications of the fitness industry are to be believed, a great advantage of a fit body is that it can be entrusted to perform competently and reliably” (Glassner 184). The benefit of being healthy is also looking healthy which makes a person trustworthy and ready to take responsibilities. People are prone to trust those who are fit in all domains of their lives which is why dominant individuals are inspiring.
More and more people from the corporate world invest in fitness of their employees. The general well-being of people is important because they are supposed to do their best for the company they work for. “Employees are becoming more knowledgeable and sophisticated about improved, if not ideal, working (and playing) environments. It is not unusual for them to request some type of fitness program be implemented at the workplace” (Sharratt and Cox 41). People are eager to become better at all segments of life which is why it is best to start from improving health.
There are numerous benefits of fitness and the main is impeccable health, because many illnesses can be prevented if a person practices a certain lifestyle. Therefore, modern times ask for men to be modern, which at the same time means returning to the roots, because physical exercises have always been an integral part of human nature.
