The achievement of Sip & Mingle Coffee Shop required the execution of project activities in a systematic order. The project required a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary fittings, a well-furnished sitting area depicting the tropical theme, customer sensitive staffs and raw materials for the startup of the shop. Each of the project tasks requires resources. The first task will be the acquisition of premises top set up the shop. The resources needed in acquiring the building premises are money, human resource base or personnel to negotiate and seal the deal.
The other task is the acquisition of equipment that will be used in brewing and consumption of coffee. These resources include decanter brewers, freezers, carts, Panini grills, grinders, coffee decanters, air pots, paper filters, water filters, vita mix blenders, refrigerators, cups, and espresso machines among others.
The other task is the acquisition of furniture. The management will need to purchase tables and chairs suitable for a coffee shop. Other resources required in setting up the coffee shop are the lighting of the shop inclusive of things like suitable light bulbs, curtains among others.
The other task was the creation of a tropical theme for the coffee shop. In line with these the shop was painted with bright tropical colors, we purchased an aquarium which we placed at the entrance of the shop as well as several tropical flowers. The setting up of the coffee shop also targeted to attract working class clients. In line with this, we set up Wi-Fi to enable clients access internet services while in the precincts of the coffee shop. We also ensured provisions of power for those with electronic devices such as laptops and other mobile devices.
Human resources are also another basic resource that was required to enable the operation of the coffee shop. In addition to the three personnel already working on the project we also enlisted a cashier and an additional waiter.

The equipment will be broken down into a separate printout showing the cost of each item. There will also be a list of the furniture and another one for lighting resources. The sets of resources had a printout showing the allocation for each and a justification for their inclusion in the planning of the business. Each resource was evaluated on its contribution to the project goals.
The over allocated resources for the project included the funds set aside for the purchase of furniture which we had allocated $20,000. We were able to acquire furniture at a lesser cost of $15,000. We had under allocated for the labor as we required massive labor to prepare the premises for the setting up of business. The new labor costs as well as the over allocations were revised to reflect the new resource structure as follows;
