- My earliest memory was when I was a three year old kid. I was in a place playing with some kids. I do not exactly remember who these kids were, all I can remember is that we were having fun; yes I was already able to have fun even when I was just a three year old kid. Often, I would also visit their house. Someone would bring me to their house to play and share toys of course. This is the first memory that I remember having. I was able to read that memory is what makes a person and so this memory along with other memories of experiences I have acquired in my years of existence, practically make me.
- As far as the clearness of my childhood memory is concerned, I can say that I have a clear memory of the significant events that happened when I was just a kid. If there is one period in my life that I think is a little bit blurred, that would be my primary school age. This may be due to the fact that most of the things that I experienced when I was at that stage were repetitive. I of course can still remember unique things like my first day at school and the year I graduated from primary school. However, in general, this is the part of my memory that I think has the widest gap.
- There is a thing called false or inaccurate memories. These are memories (e.g. experiences among other things) that individuals remember but did not actually exist or take place. According to one study about false memories, having false memories may be caused by sleep deprivation . I remember when I was a kid that a friend gave me something for my birthday but then they keep on arguing that they were not able to buy and give me a present that year and that they are a hundred percent sure about it. This, I think, can be classified as a type of false memory.
