People have different experiences in life. The experiences occur at different times in the lives of people. My life has been full of exhilarating experiences, which have presented difficulties and good times as well. I always believe that whatever one experiences during a particular period in their lifetime, it is to enable the person to learn important lessons, which define ones destiny. In my early twenties, I only used to think of life as an enjoyable occurrence in human life that presents an individual with moments of happiness and pleasure. However, as one comes of age, they encounter experiences that vary accordingly based on the motives that people have in life. In this narrative, I will narrate about my life in the early twenties as a single woman, and touch on my life in the late twenties and early tortoise as a married woman and as a mother.
In my early twenties, I had only transitioned from teenage life, which was full of teenage fun and experience. This transition was one, which introduced me to the adult life whereby one can live alone. As a single woman, I had the desire to experience life, its difficulties, and comforts so that I would learn to live satisfactorily. I made companions, both male and female whop we could have fun together. Indeed, I was not under the authority of any one including my parents as I lived in a different apartment from theirs, though not far off. I worked in a salon as a cosmetologist. I made good money and lived on my own. I did not have any major responsibilities, as my father was stable and financially able. I did not have a care in the world and all I had to think about was myself. I made good money, lived on my own. I was able to buy clothes, purses, new shoes whenever I wanted. I could go out to dinner at any time I could meet up with my friends anytime. I was single living the life with nobody to worry about, but myself. After work, we would plan with my female counterparts to go out for dinner; the evenings would be filled with merry as we visited dinner places that were mostly frequented by youths. Entertainment was one of the very things that we valued. Personally, I loved music and dancing. We would party until late night. It was always enjoyable during these times spending with friends who really understood each other properly. It was during these times when I met my husband. When I got married, I had two daughters in my early thirties. I realized that life was not all about myself. I did not by stuff for me anymore. I had to buy diapers, wipes and other staff for my two daughters. Most of the things were now about my family, my two little girls and my husband. It was a wonderful experience having a family. Soon after wards, I had to abandon my salon job as he claimed that I would be better off as a sty at him wife to take care of family affairs while he worked. I did not object to this as he had a very successful business and was making good money out of it that could ensure we lived a well of life. Therefore, I ended up abandoning my salon job in order to take on the family chores.
After getting married, I was own not in a position to care only about myself as I had previously done. I had had responsibilities to take care of and so changed from the way I had lived as a single woman and began living as a family woman. . This brought a distinctly different experience in my life since having lived as a single woman; I did not hope to have a family any time soon. I had to learn not to be selfish ant longer. Whenever I heard my any of my daughter crying while reading a magazine or watching a movie, I would be there to check on her. My husband recently suggested that I being attending college something, which we both agreed on. In the near future, I will be attending college for the first time, leaving my two daughters in the hands of the house help. This is also a different experience for me; I will get to learn how it feels to attend college as a wife and a mother.
In my marriage life, I have discovered that life is usually different at different stages since as a person advances in life, responsibilities increases, which force the person to take appropriate measure in order to take care of the responsibilities. So far, my life has been full of exhilarating experiences, which bring excitement and at times discomfort. However, I have learned to live as per the prevailing conditions in order to ensure my life is smooth. As a mother and a wife, I understand the aspects that should prevail in the family set up. This is different from the single life that I led before. Essentially, these experiences have distinct lessons for an individual.
