I am writing to express my utmost interest in the Ohio State University for a PhD in marriage and family. With much pleasure, I have had a chance of speaking to both current and past postgraduate students, which has been very impressive with the diverse opportunities, which I would afford within your program. As stated earlier, For my PhD I wish to research on marriage and family. This issue has continued to be a focal point for the American history for a long time now. All of my life, I have sought to understand the dynamics of the subject for a long time with great passion. I have not been fully able to learn how to perfect my skills in handling the specific personal training as well as proper counseling to persons undergoing such difficulties to achieve the ultimate goals therein. Most of the short-term goals will be obtained through a practice residency accompanied by a counseling residency in the areas of my interest. In this case, my interests will include the impact of marriage and family on society. During my university experience, I look forward to enhancing my clinical expertise together with the expansion of my skills in administration and research. After completion of my PhD, I will seek a position in which I can counsel, conduct research, and maintain my practice.
I would really wish to be under the mentorship of Suzanne Bartle-Haring, Ph.D., who is the Program Director. In writing my research paper, I will explain how the marriage and family as the smallest social unit in the society has helped with the development of society to the next level in the application of various approaches to social development. With the inclusion of all new supplements as well as choosing from today’s social dynamism, practically all people are able to encounter differences in offering guidance to be used in high fitness as well as having people to ultimately understand the potential severity coming along with such tubs of marriage and family.
