A world where the citizens are pleased with the government performance can be achieved when governmental agencies seize opportunities to meet citizens’ needs in way that contributes to social, economic and environmental good.
When governments offer quality services and programs, the citizen’s interests, revenues and satisfaction is increased in general.
When the agencies continuously improve and report on their performance, they are able to gain a lot of support from the public.
When government agencies develop infrastructure that is consistent with the public’s behavior and inclinations, they are able to increase public health and safety.
When agencies communicate effectively, they motivate the public’s voluntary compliance
When agencies avail easy access to their services, they increase the utilization of such services and decrease the operating costs
In addition, the government which is actually the public sector is responsible for providing public services critical to public interest as well as those that the private and the non-profit sector is unable to provide given the existing resources.
