Hell in Muslims Perception
Muslims have the idea of Hell as a place of residence and the unbelieving sinners from among those whom Allah will not forgive. Sources of information about hell Muslims drawn from the Koran and the words of the prophet Muhammad. In hell, there are guards - 19 harsh angels, and chief guardian of Hell - a mighty angel Malik. As follows from the words of the prophet, Heaven and Hell have already been created, but people will enter into them only after the Last Judgment.
In Hell waiting torment fire, which is many times more painful earthly fire, drinks from the boiling water and pus, as well as the fruit of the tree of hell Zaqqum. Unbelievers to hell - forever, while the punishment of hell sinners-Muslims are not forever, and after a while (about which only Allah knows) they are freed from the Hellfire and will enter Paradise. In the sacred texts of the Qur'an there are many references to hell, for example:
"The desire of them will come out of the Fire, but never out of it they do not go out to them - eternal torment." (Quran 5:37) "Verily, those who do not believe and doeth iniquity, have mercy of Allah and do not guide them on the path except the path of Hell, where they remain forever." (Quran 4: 168-169) "I will send him to the underworld. How did you know what the Hell? She did not spare and leaves no burning man. Above it is the same - nineteen (custody). "(Quran 74:26:30) "And they will cry: 'O Malik! Let us put an end to your Lord! "He will say: 'You stay!" We gave you the truth, but most of you because the truth hates. "(Quran 43: 74-78) "But those who disbelieve, theirs will be a drink of boiling water and a painful punishment because they disbelieved" (Quran 10: 3-5).
Hell in Christianity Perception
In Christianity, according to the Orthodox Faith, after the original fall into hell the souls “his sons and daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted and said: I will go down with sorrow to my son mourning. Thus his father wept for him." (Genesis, 37:35). The souls of the righteous Simeon and King Herod beheaded John the Baptist preached in hell speedy and universal redemption. After his suffering and death on the cross Christ descended into the remotest depths of hell, destroyed hell and brought him out of the souls of all the saints in the kingdom of God (heaven), and the souls of sinners and those who accepted the preaching of salvation have come. And now the souls of dead saints (pious Christians) go to heaven. But often people who live by their sins, without realizing it, push away from God himself - themselves (even while on earth) create in his heart hell, and after death the souls themselves no longer have the possibility to change its state, which will be further progress in eternity. But still living on earth the opportunity to good works, not only by avoiding the terrible torment after death, but also pray to God to ease their eternal torment already deceased relatives, friends and strangers who died, and even completely rid of anyone from the torments of hell. However, the ultimate fate of the souls of the dead is unknown now living - it depends entirely on the will of God. Savior stresses that the determining criterion for Him to be the presence (at the "Lamb") works of mercy (help the needy, and to which he classifies himself) - or the lack of these cases.
Heaven and Hell in Judaism
Heaven and Hell in Judaism are two opposing concepts and undoubtedly all the soul after life tends to go to heaven. In order to go to heaven, the soul must pass through all the celestial sphere, which seven.
In the first field will be free from earthly cares and grief. Here he forgets about work and the economy. He is now no need to worry about how to make money and feed their families. Here, one is freed from bodily suffering. If his body on earth suffered various diseases could appear abscesses or ulcers, here his skin clean and smooth.
The second sphere of the soul ceases to mourn the remaining native people on earth. Husband forgets his wife and vice versa. Mother no longer remembers about his daughter, the father - about his son. Do not remember about the here and relatives, or about the distant, or about the neighbors. The soul finds siblings in heaven.
The third sphere of the soul forgets all cravings. Soul no longer cares about the old passion. She does not want any more wealth, or gold, or silver, or diamonds. She does not dream about the huge herds of horses or purebred cows. Do not remember the soul of possessions on earth. Do not want it any more field or meadow. Do not worry her more than any earthly riches, nor power, nor fame. Soul of man does not lust passion for a woman and vice versa, the soul of women had a passion for the man.
The fourth area of the soul is freed from all earthly desires. The soul does not remember that you need every day to eat anything earthly. She has no desire to taste the meat or poultry. She will not eat any more fish or cheese. No, her desire to taste the cereal or vegetable crops. Soft and comfortable bed to her now and will not need to buy and wear themselves in beautiful clothes she will not.
Turning to the fifth sphere, the soul begins to partake of the heavenly world. This can be compared with the time when the seed husk. That's the way the soul is cleansed of all the aspirations that were on the ground, all thoughts, desires and dreams. Now all thoughts of the soul directed only up to the heavenly heights, where he located the foot of the throne, on which sits the Almighty God.
The following sixth sphere soul begins already hear the music of heaven, she gets a special vision. In this area, the soul, this got rid of all the burdens and worries, which was on the ground, to know the real beauty and charm of the whole world, because he is now in front of her. Now she can watch every person on earth, he sees what he does, all his joys and sorrows.
The final seventh sphere shower can already witness the angels and the beautiful light that comes from God. Here the angels circling around the heart. They are beautiful inside and out, their eyes are clean, almost transparent. Circling, they call the soul to fly after them; they will lead her to the throne of Yahweh.
Heaven in Muslims Perception
Heaven is considered the reward a person who believes in one God (Allah) and do good deeds.
In paradise, according to Islamic teachings, the men-righteous will live with their houris - black-eyed, with beautiful hair, their beauty is incomparable, beautiful maidens, which was none. Some Islamic scholars believe that the image of the houris in paradise - an allegory.
The righteous will be dressed in green silk, satin, brocade and gold, and lying on the carpet with green pillows in special tents of the Yakhont, pearls and other gems gigantic quantities (Qur'an, 18:31; Tirmidhi, Jannat 23, 2565). To serve the righteous will be boys in green robes with silver ornaments (Qur'an, 76: 19-21; Qur'an 56:17).
It is also said that the inhabitants of paradise will be a heavenly drink wine that will not be drunk (Qur'an, 56:19). In paradise would not be natural bowel movements - all will come out of people by special sweat like musk, with the surface of the skin (Muslim, Jannat 18, 3835; Abu Dawood, Sunnat, 23, 4741).
In the hadeeth of Ibn Sad prophet Muhammad described paradise as follows: "Paradise is made of silver bricks and gold bricks, which will be fragrant musk. There will be pebbles of pearls and Yakhont "(Tirmidhi, Jannat 2, 2528). According to the hadeeth narrated by Abu Hurayrah, the Prophet Muhammad said that "Paradise has one hundred levels, between which there is a distance of a hundred years" (Tirmidhi, Jannat April 2531). There is a Hadith mentions the existence in paradise tree Tuba (Tirmidhi, Tafsir, Vakia, 3289, Jannat 1, 2525). And in another hadith says that, in addition to the tree, there are a lot of trees whose trunks of gold (Tirmidhi, Jannat 1, 2527).
In general, Islam accepts early-Bible idea of paradise as the earthly garden - Eden, where the rivers flow and grow all kinds of plants (Qur'an, 98: 8). In particular, there is mention of four rivers: the water, milk, wine and honey (Qur'an, 47:15), which corresponds to the biblical concept of the four rivers of earthly paradise garden of Eden: the Pishon, Gihon, Euphrates and Hiddekil Gen. 2: 10-14)
In Islam, it is mentioned that a person cannot know or imagine the true essence of paradise. As stated in the hadith: Allah the Almighty said: "I have prepared for My righteous servants that which is not seen even a single eye, and have not heard one ear and not felt by any heart."
Heaven in Christianity
In Christianity reveals a new sense of paradise, as the "Kingdom of Heaven", prepared from the foundation of the world, conquered by the victory of Jesus Christ over hell. Primordial past and future are mixed in the final idea of paradise. To the original, lost paradisiacal state can not go back - paradise at the end of the world there is an entirely different process. It is a paradise after knowing freedom, after all the suffering and trials that reveal new possibilities of God and man. You could even say that it is a paradise after hell after the experience of evil and free rejection of hell. Saints inherit heaven after earthly death and resurrection to a new universe, not knowing any disease, nor sorrow, nor sighing, feeling continual rejoicing and bliss. In the understanding of the Church of the heavenly paradise in which the souls of the righteous, is the nearest to the earth heavenly abode or "first heaven"; behind him, above, there is heaven (Rev. 6: 9; 7: 9; 4: 4). Clement of Rome speaks of the apostle Peter, that he is death "stepped into the place of glory" of Paul - that he "walked in death is a holy place."
