Shiang Hai Japanese Vegetarian Restaurant is an interesting vegetarian restaurant that is accessible to everyone who wants to indulge with healthy, clean and balanced food. Its location is in Sunway Mentari, opposite the Sunway Pyramid, along with rows of several fast foods where people frequent. This restaurant appears to become appealing to most people who want to maintain eating healthy and vegetarian food as my friend invited me to try their signature sushi dish. It is also worth noting that the name of the restaurant itself seems a combination of Chinese and Japanese cuisine as it suggests. The restaurant is very cozy, neat and organized, furnished with wooden tables and chairs establishing an at-home feeling to its customers. The visitors of the air-conditioned restaurant are mostly business and office people as there are commercial buildings around. The opening time and closing time accommodates the both passersby and the working people. The diner caters its customers very well that it created a small library at one corner near the entrance so that waiting customers can keep themselves busy through the different magazines and books available. When it’s our turn to take our place, one of its staffs gave a menu that I found very helpful especially it contains pictures that depict every menu. For someone who does not frequent this place, such kind of menu design is very accommodating and helpful as most of the time, dish names do not equate to how it actually looks. The grouping of food type in the menu is also useful so that it is easier to look and choose from the list of viands. The staffs of the restaurants are also friendly and polite as they patiently try to explain and answer every question of its customers.
