Art is any reflex ion or production prefabricated by humans in a visible mold for communicative or aesthetical purposes expressing ideas emotions or in general worldview. It is cross-examined throughout time classifying cultures, establishing per iodization and observing the distinctive and influence of art. The various forms of arts include visual, musical, theatrical and literary all from different time period.
Chanted art is a write of art whose substance is articulate and silence. It can be classified as performing and fine arts. Music was an eminent portion of the social and cultural life in ancient Greece. Ancient Egyptians accredited one of their gods Thoth with an invention of music which was later used to speak out to the people of the world by use of harps and flutes. Other works used in the Middle Ages was singing where it started with introduction of chanting by the Roman Catholic services more chanting progressed on during this era with a few improvements in areas such as music notation whereby composers and singers used smooth polyphony for music composition.
Literary art is a type of art where words and language are imaginatively used to explore discover and express feelings ,ideas of values in poetry fiction and non- fiction ,drama and any other form of creative writings .much of literary arts is heavily by the Ancient Greek whereby earliest literary works is the Epic of Gilgamesh it’s a Babylonian epic poem that arises from stories in the Sumerian language of ancient times .The epics deals with themes of heroism ,friendship ,loss and quest for eternal life .in the middle ages romance was developed on an adventurous and at a time when magical narratives works had a very strong popular Appeal. This was made possible by invention of printing which proliferated religious, political and instructional literature.
Melodramatic Field is a collaborative comprise of small field that uses living performers to acquaint the undergo of a actual or imagined event before a live audience in a specific space. This type of art too is heavily influenced by Ancient Greece Theatre of ancient Greece consisted of three types of drama, tragedy, comedy and satyr play. According to Aristotle {384-322bc} the first theoretical of theatre to be found in the festivals that honored Dionysus .Performances were given in semi-circular auditoria cut into hillside. Another theatrical work is commedia delliarte and melodrama both of which emerged in the Middle Ages. The trend was from the poetic drama to a more naturalistic prose style of dialogue.
Visual Arts is a form of art which involves expressing feelings, emotions opinion or taste through visual means such as photography, painting, sculpting, and drawing. Here again much contribution was by the ancient Greeks. They contributed to painting. Another significant contribution is the Chauret and Hascaux caves in southern France, whereby the paintings are in shapes of red, brown, yellow and blacks on the walls where as the ceilings are of bison, cattle, horse, and deer paintings. The Greeks are the pioneers of icon painting. One representation by the Greek is the Mosare of battle of issue at Pompei. Other works in the middle ages include, illuminate scripts produced by monks, and also Europeans art from Italy renaissance painters from Giotto 13th Century.
During the reformation of the contemporary world, the musical art had diversified whereby styles were turned into fervent and expressive pieces. At this period Jazz works in musical arts evolved as a very important genre. Its origin was African-American whereby there was the use of blue notes, improvisation, polyrhythm, syncopation and the swung not. In literary Arts Genre fiction evolved in the 20th century, this enabled separation of mainstream and Genre forms including journalism. Theatrical arts took on a turn whereby women were introduced to stage play rights, comedy was written and performed, theatrics forms of Romanticism, melodrama, Victorian burlesque and the well made plays of scribes and sardon gave way to the problem plays of naturalism. In visual arts post impressionism emerged in the 19th Century which involved the use of geometric forms and unnatural colors to depict emotions at the same time striving for deeper symbolism. The various cultures from which these arts are displayed vary in their mode of expression whereby in musical arts there is development of sound varying from chanting to notations and finally singing of Jazz music emerged. In Literary Arts, there was development of ethics to drama and finally to Genre fiction whereas in Theatrical Arts it evolves from drama to comedy and finally to plays.
