According to Bob, rendition has been used by the federal states as a legal word that means to surrender from one authority or state to another. It is a term that is used for both people and property.
Bob has also noted that it is the role of each state to turn over suspects as requested by other states. This is outlined in the Rendition Clause that is found in the United States Constitution, in the second section of the fourth article. However, the Supreme Court has come up with some exceptions, like in situations where a state may move on with the execution of a judicial order against a suspect as long as it is in accordance with its legal proceedings.
Rendition has been used by the US particularly after the 9/11 terrorist attacks to send criminals mostly suspected terrorists to other countries for detention and cross-examination. However this act has been greatly criticized by the human rights watch dogs. Accordingly, they view rendition as a wrong move by the CIA and they are convinced that the CIA usually consider rendition just to escape from the US laws that do not allow for suspects to be tortured (Bob).
Other countries also view rendition as a legal term but in this case it is the act of executing a judicial order, as well as giving detailed account of events and happenings as is the case in witnessing. But countries like Kyrgyzstan, Britain, Canada, Sweden and France have also been identified to be involved in torture of terrorists more by sending them to countries such as Syria, Jordan, Algeria, Libya, Egypt and Uzbekistan for torturing (Bob).
