My name is XXX and I would like to share with you my story. I do not say it much, since I am not the one used to complain, but life has bit be quite a lot on my way to where I want to stand. As the result, I had to learn to be something more, than I could have ever expected. Today I am a 34 years old woman, a student, a single mother, a member of Student National Pharmaceutical Association, a social activist at school, an already 3 years unemployed pharmaceutical tech with 10 years of practice experience, and a strong-will hard-working multi task personality, who cherishes life and all the experience what comes along.
The decision to become a helping part of the society had come to me more than a decade ago; however, at that point I did not know how much important the development into a great specialist would become to me. The first turning point was the death of my father in 2008. At that moment I thought that was the biggest tragedy in my life, but I had to be strong for my mother. I managed to keep both of us together for a while; and then in 2010, six month after I became a mother myself, at the moment least expected, life had hit me hard again: my mother passed away. I was left completely by myself, without much of understanding what to do next. I had just started going to school, had just given birth to a child, and had just lost the closest person in my life. How could you ever be prepared for anything like that? In one day my whole life had turned upside down and I could not afford a day off to get distracted, or take my grief, or brainstorm an action plan for the nearest future. No matter, how hard it was, I did not give up anything.

Six years have passed and I am grateful for every experience gained. I became strong, self confident and learnt not to ever back down. Today I am proud that my child is being raised a good person and that I have enough strength to keep studying to get the Doctorate of Pharmacist, as well as visit the continue education courses while being a registered tech. I do prefer to stay updated and explore the subject of my field. Moreover, I have successfully received the HIPAA, Fraud, and waste and abuse certificates and gained the unique experience of working at Durable Medical Equipment Pharmacy. Every day starts with getting up at 5 am in order to get to the class by 8:10 am: I have just enough time for making breakfast for two, packing my things and driving my kid to school before I rush into the day. I do not own much and I do not ask for much: I live on subsidized and non subsidized financial support to be able to accomplish my mission and finish my studies, because I know I will be able to do what I love the most and help
people to be themselves, since I know well how to comfort and advice.
Currently, I am asking for you help so I get a chance to make a true difference. Yes, I deserve scholarship, and if not due to the unpredicted life turning circumstances I managed to overcome, than, for sure, due to my commitment to become a professional and assist others, who face daily health obstacles, to keep their lives as much close to the way they want it to be; because I truly believe, that one is a creator of his life and that should not be ever taken away.
